Ran takahashi is EXACTLY what Japan needs right now. They are lacking a strong third pin hitter. If he works hard japan will be in a good spot in the olympics. And shout out to you for making these videos bcus the volleyball community needs it. Glad you came back!
Idk, I think Japan is fine on the wings with Yanagida, wing attacking has never really been their issue. A 6'6"+ middle that can actually move their feet would help them more imo. But thanks for the kind words!
Welp it looks like Ran is gonna start alongside ishikawa now looking at their recent matches with the Tokyo challenge cup (against China) and their intra squad games
@@djperro7248 Ran needs more experience but dude is special man. He's like a young Ishikawa. Every championship team needs THREE STRONG PIN HITTERS. Japan finally has that.
Why this channel isn't blowing up man, you doing a great job. Who else is talking about facts and stats of volleyball tournaments. Everyone is just copying each other's videos and playing the 2-3 years old clips showing them again and again. Hats off to you mate
Ran was insane in the highschool semi final and final. I don't know if there is a chance that he gets court time in the olympics but i will watch every game from japan just in case. 😂
Noumory Keita, he's been absolutely killing it in the Korean league. Put up 38 points against Kurek, and then 54 in another match. Player to watch, and he is only 2001. He is nature's wonder, being 205cm tall and very very jumpy.
@FiveOne Volleyball will you make the ranking of best players in every position on 2020. 2 years have passed from last ranking, many things have changed
I was a bit skeptical to watch the video (because I've seen so many shitty ones), but you really caught me. Amazing level of detail, and impressive list. Congrats.
Awesome video man, of a high quality! I would definitly put Michieletto over Rinaldi, there's also Daniele Lavia, who is better than him in my opinion. Would put Adis Lagumdžija first too, though it will be interestin to watch, how will his game evolve and whether he is to become a player to win tournaments.
Yeah as others have pointed out, Michieletto is probably the #1 italian prospect right now. Micah Christenson was doing an instagram live a few weeks ago and said he was the best young player in the Italian league right now
For me Michieletto is the biggest prospect in the world. His reception/blocking and defense is already of the level of an experienced player. Off course he still makes 'young-player' mistakes but he is soo gifted. Has a very technical left handed swing in his arms and will be onf of the best volleyball players in the world in 5-10 years
Michieletto has been a joy to watch and would be one of the top on this list if I made it again today. His technical level at his height and age is amazing to see.
A potentially interesting video could be done on the 4 young North American setters: Epps Ma’A Worley and Tuaniga. I feel like all 4 of are fairly different players and could be a fun comparison. If there any Cuban or other Latin American setters, you could throw them in too.
Good video, but I suggest that next time you think about including players from all positions on your list. You didn't mention a single middle-blocker, setter or libero.
It's a good recommendation, for libero I could have added Gage Worsely or Fedorov. But there do not seem to be any good setter or middle blocker prospects at the moment.
U should keep an eye in armoa from argentina, he is 2002 or 03, originaly cuban but adopted by upcn de san juans trainer and he been doing greate i think
Adis' father, Urnaut's brother and Vladimir Grbic used to be starting wings for Yugoslavia NT. I would pick Micheiletto over Rinaldi. Not sure about Tetyukhin too cause of his size, 18 yo libero from Kazan would be better. His platform technique is lit. Might be better digger version of Erik shoji.

OMG you are amazing now Ran Takahashi become famous and play in Padova Italy !!!!! He even play in Olympic when he still 19 year old !!!
Italian Alessandro Michieletto starting and playing for Trentino. Born in 2001. He is an amazing player.
Big miss not having him on here
He took the spot from Kooy. He's a better passer and server from what I can see.

looking at this video today so many of these players are really big rising stars now. Great predictions!
Surprised for ran takahashi here
Glad you were on the VLA channel. Great info. Could you add their heights to the videos as well?
Paolo Porro is playing in Modena to put a setter on the list.
Also, Uladzislau Babkevich opposite from Belarus is a physical monster.

Darlan, opposite from SESI-SP, starting in the Brazilian league. He is Alan's brother and 2002.
I've heard his name brought up a couple of times before, seems like a crazy athlete
thanks bro, please upload more
How about Linus Weber from Germany? I think he is considered as the ace player of the team right now and their leading scorer.

I think that tournament was broadcast in 50 fps
Michał Gierżot from Poland

I don't do it for the views I do it for the people
Give it a look at Adriano, he won second best outside in brazilian league. 19 yo.
Yeah he has been sensational this year
