It was an incredible experience and a wonderful opportunity to share my story. I'm truly grateful for the platform you provide to individuals like myself. Looking forward to more opportunities in the future!
Great interview & sharing. The point on paying off student debt first vs investing on a cash flow potential asset is gold. Cos if one opt for former, they have debt gone but no cash flow + appreciating asset. I was contemplating on which option. This was so helpful. 🙏
I’m a corporate pilot and I relate to Ryan’s story very much. I have a similar story and started out with Room rentals for other pilots. It’s grown into much more today. Big results start with little wins.
That's fantastic to hear! It's amazing how small beginnings can lead to significant accomplishments. Your journey sounds inspiring, and it's great that you've been able to expand beyond room rentals. Keep pushing forward and making those little wins count! ✈👍
@@RyanTseko10XI plan on pushing forward into bigger multi family like you have. it’s inspiring to see far you’ve come. I’ve learned a lot from you and Grant. Thank you for your insights and inspiration.
what tips do you have to reach this group? near airport, are they okay with bunkbeds or just private rooms, do they want "x" amenities, do they use furnish finder, etc.
Not trying to hate or anything, but he made it seem like after already being hired as a salesman for Grant he told Grants wife he was a pilot and she asked if Grant knew and he said no. Then a few minutes later David asks him what did you offer Grant on the initial phone call that got you in the door and he says he told him he was a pilot and can run the flight division for free. I'm confused.
Great show. I appreciate him mentioning his timing in the beginning. Not to take anything away from anyone but I think it is helpful for anyone whos looking to get started in investing today to recognize that the last 10-15 years have been nothing but exponential growth in real estate. Much has changed in the last 2 years.
Wow, Ryan! Your story is amazing. The training and discipline from flying seem to have been a big help in your real estate success. I'm sure traveling to different places as a pilot helped you find good real estate deals. Keep it up!
Thanks a lot! Flying taught me discipline and skills that translate well into real estate. Being a pilot also helps me spot good deals in different places. Excited for what's ahead! Thanks for the support!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. Your congratulations means a lot to me! If you have any questions or want to hear more, feel free to let me know. Thanks again!
Dave u were saying he bought blue states in that interview 8 yrs ago but now he does red states except for that Malibu prob, red states more landlord friendly .
Here's what I don't get. A lot of these videos are all "so I bought this multifamily complex 18 months ago and am now cashflowing and it's amazing!!" If that's the case, why did the previous owner sell you the multifamily complex, since he/her in theory was also "cashflowing and it was amazing!!" Something's....not adding up here. If buying real estate leads to these astronomical returns, why isn't everyone buying real estate? Or said different, why would anyone ever sell real estate to a potential buyer? "The key to wealth building is buying real estate!!!" But the only way this works is if the person selling you that real estate didn't get the memo that the key to wealth building is buying real estate, because he's getting rid of the thing that's in theory the key to the wealth building. Doesn't...make...sense...
Peoples goals change throughout life when landlords get older they may prefer tge cash or pay down debt or possibly 1031 into something that makes more money off the equity.
In the early days of Bigger Pockets "quick tip" was said in a high pitched voice. Now you say it in a creepy mass murder voice. Can you please go back? It always used to make me smile and now it makes me cringe.
Thank you @RyanTseko10X You took the selfless approach. You looked to help someone else without the expectation of reward. It is a powerful tool in marketing and in relationship. Exactly how I am thinking about moving into the commercial side. I don;t need the money and simply want to learn the industry by helping some of those that are doing it. Step 2 is then of course reaching back and helping those from the communties that I grew up in. Keep it up.

Good episode, but can y’all add more adds….
Can confirm, investing in real estate was one of the worst things I've done in my entire life. Lost literally my entire life savings.
Airline paying for all your expenses and making 120 hr. Bruh stfu !

@@matthewburkholder1076 Oh, I must have missed the point where he had a contract for pay prior to helping out.
