Could be you have over committing to them but it’s probabaly a two way problem especially in low elo souls baron and elder kinda suck because they don’t know how to use it to end the game 😂
honestly its 50/50 down here lmao, sometimes they won't sometimes they try to force them... right or wrong I wish they just followed the jngs decision considering the importance of smiting objs.
The worst feeling is when you can clearly see your team making a very obvious mistake, you can literally tell the future, you put into chat the most basic, unemotional coms, and watch them completely ignore you, and the exact thing you imagined happens and there's literally nothing you can do. And this is happening late game when my team doesn't know how to close out a winning game, everyone becomes out of synch and you lose a game you absolutely should've won. This happens so often...
I had a gane yesterday when i saw my 2/12 jungler moving slowly and inconfidently threw river ro enemy jungle. I said "dont go there" and ping once, he did go there and died, then said "literally no help from laners"
mistake 7, over grouping, is one i almost never make and its not on purpose, its because i play smolder and i'm greeding for stacks. I've turned so many games around just by scaling and being a side lane threat. Just hit silver and still climbing. Silver doesn't sound great but i started playing maybe 6 months ago and don't play a lot of ranked so its good for me.
Silver is actually nice, i have friends that played for years and are still bronze or low silver, myself i’ve been playing for a year and i just reached gold with a lot of dedication and time
Believe me when I say people in emerald are as bad as people in silver/gold. Go into it with that mindset and you'll climb with ease. If you go on more than a 2 lose streak, take a break. Then come back to it when you got that good feeling again ❤
You're probably missing out on more stack by not fighting due to her upgraded passive. You get a stack when abilities hit enemies. Ie, 1 ability could net you max 5 stacks. Which is just about a whole wave
Mistake 6 is so true, so many games where no one's pushing lanes, but roaming around in the jungle doing nothing, only to get caught and fighting for no apparent reason, or going mid lane to play ARAM. No lane pressure, losing out on free gold, etc. Yet ever single time a fight breaks out, they get pissed off if you're not there, thus starting the downward spiral of getting tilted and then giving up. What good is fighting for a drag, when you could easily push and possibly take a tower? Giving more lane space and pressure.
Mistake 8 is assuming you don't lose the game over one bad team fight. I was adc in silver and was the most fed player and decided to push sidelanes. All of my teammates were eyeing the entire enemy team mid. The only thing they needed to do is not fight and i would probably have pushed t3 turret. But no, they fought and we lost. In low elo you need to ensure everyone in the enemy team is dead to secure victory.
Objective Syndrome is rampant in low elo. Anytime I play Jungle, I have random other teammates pinging rapidly and even starting objectives the second they spawn. Meanwhile, I still need to clear a quadrant and I know the enemy jungle is in better position to take it.
@SLOWBRNMUSICI’ve had teammates ping me to death saying I’m not at an objective when there’s literally a chat timeline of my pings and text setting us up. Then I go according to plan, my team does nothing, enemy team comes in and steals obj while my team lags behind then blames me for not doing objectives… I’m like, what is happening? lol
@dennisgrube455The exact same thing happens to me. Later, when the enemy team has two or three dragons, my team will team that we need objectives. I'll tell them that we were not in a position where we could take those early objectives with certainty, but we can go for the next one.
@binoomaulOnline gaming has only gotten worse over the years as a whole, but there’s so many times where it’s like… can you not have your baseline mood set to angry incel, please? 😂
Started in January and I've caught myself in decision paralysis cos I don't want to cross the river solo as an ADC but see a fight i know is lost somewhere else and then don't know what to do.
12:10 I don't find it as a mistake totally, because if you take the tower instead after a clean fight, u can leave 1-2 people pushing while you take the herald, even if you take that tower using herald, you don't give to the enemies the chance to get the herald and using it on your towers.
On the first mistake, its never an option to play safe, so you should ward. Because when you play safe there, your jng will go for scuttle and get collapsed, you cant change him, so its always better to have prio with vision
objectives ... if you dont think its worth and continue to push a free lane and get tower but enemy laner rotates with their team to fight for drake and your team dies then you get spammed pinged and reported for not going to drake even though you got an entire lane with 1 and 1 1/2 towers so even when u make the correct play your team reports you for it and then they int to be spiteful
When i play jungle i just camp one lane (usually an immobile champ), gank him 3 to 4 times in a row. Yes, sometimes i lose some of my jungle and even drake but the enemy becomes so tilted that he either keeps feeding or just goes afk.
idk, as a top laner whenever i push the lane there's always someone to clear lane fast enough to defend the turret. i could tp but usually the play is over by then or not worth it.
Can't really agree with the overgrouping part because someone always dies if you have 2 people in side lanes. It's not possible to ward the entire map so you have full vision on the enemy team and that means players need to use their brains and turn the minimap on which doesn't happen.
My issue with league is, I watch your videos and learn a lot but the game is flooded with smurfs, I play ranked and constantly play against some Smurf who dominates so I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel very frustrating for a new player
Mistake 6: In your Macro video just one month ago you say "Drakes are without doubt the most important win condition" What now? Drake or not? Or do you just say what you want, based on what point you're trying to make to lure people into your paid courses?
Yeah, it's dumb, because the risk of contesting a drake isn't worth the reward, when you could get waves of minions, and plates by pushing a lane, maybe even take down a turret if it's low enough. I sometimes don't even bother with going for the first couple of drakes, just so I can get some lane pressure in, unless I'm ahead enough to get some nice picks from the ensuing teamfight over it.
I'm plat1 euw going for Emerald again after reset and one of these mistakes happen at least once in a game in Plat 1 elo, and is usually capitalised immediately making your life two times worse for the time being. Good tips 👍🏼
"Or what the team will say" is HUGE. Either mute all and work with pings, or try and communicate even if it falls on deaf ears. If you are too worried about flame, you should probably not play at all.
Thing is, everyone thinks they know what the right play is, and everyone think they are better than their rank. Everyone think they are the best player on the team every game and everyone think THEY must carry. While no one is ready to listen or follow what anyone else says. Don't complain that others don't follow your calls if you're not following other's calls. League in particular is such a main character syndrome game, it's hilarious. :D You're not the best player on the team 80% of games, and you're the WORST player on the team one game in five.
Naw if you guys watch true silver-iron and even low gold. Their gameplay is basically just trolling. Like it’s impossible to troll in that elo because they basically troll during their regular gameplay.
My huge issue with skill capped is the site, you can't even autoplay the next video in a series, it's a hassle especially when the videos are less than 3- 4 mins
I cant kite, Im bad at last hitting, bad at dodging abilities and attacks especially as a melee vs ranged, and its hard for me to play on unlocked camera
Play with locked cam on or the new dynamic camera. Make sure to move perpendicularly to projectiles coming at you rather than moving away from them. Left click the current minion you are attacking to see its hp in the top left hand corner of the screen, then look at your AD (the brown axe) stat in your champion stat window, and hit that minion if its hp is equal or less than that number. You will get better, you just have to keep trying until you succeed.
Only one I'm a little confused by is Mistake 6. I've always heard that you're supposed to show up early to the Drake to get priority. Is mistake 6 simply that once you've lost priority, you might as well shove the lanes and then you can come back once drake is up to attempt to contest? Or is the mistake that a whole minute before drake spawns is simply too early to try to set up priority?
So what I believe they're trying to get at about the drakes is that if you're behind you need to focus on getting that gold in waves and try to get a pick but don't hyper focus a drake especially if you're team start losing by getting picked
@leyshadow1192 Yea, it seems like multiple tips in one. Don't show up too early and don't force the fight if the other team isn't about to get Soul anyway. I think Coach Leo calls it something like 'bodyguarding the objective' or something like that.
@xSolBadguy honestly drags aren’t that important this season. Even isn’t crazy. The amount of games I’ve won but not trying to get the soul and get towers then trade baron for a drag or soul then pretty much end the game because towers are weak waves build up fast.
The more videos like this that I see, the more I realize there needs to be a full (or mostly) full video on how to scratch and claw out of iron as a new player. Have it cover the absolute anarchy that is Iron and how none of the normal rules apply 😂
More people should watch these videos. I hate people trying to tell me how to jungle when I'm trading 1 worthless dragon for tempo, a free gank, or counter jungling and getting a nice lead. On the flipside...people should stop going all in and dying right as an objective spawns. Then we have to give it most of the time. Man...this community would actually level up so much if they got their heads out of their asses and dropped their egos lol
first drake +6% winrate, is like having a kayle vs a garen in toplane. Ofc it doesnt mean that kayle will win that game by simply existing because her winrate against garen is 6% more... but its still a 6% increase on the chance on your whole team of winning that game.
1 drake vs 2 turrets. As a jungle main I love watching them fight over drake while I push side lanes and up my gold lol. You can have 0 drake and get elder near the end and it's still op lol. Drakes r way over rated xd
@gearedeagle6484 one ally getting a little more fed doesn't mean shit against a team with soul, good luck contesting that elder when your entire team is behind. every single ally should come to almost every single drake, when you start hyperfocusing on drakes your win rate will skyrocket
I’m a jg main and every game I have people spam pinging me to take an objective when we have no map pressure. Our lanes are pushed in, the entire enemy team is alive, I’m on the other side of the map and they’re like COME HELP US DRAGON THERES ONLY 3 OF US HERE like they’re unable to take it without me lmfao
Anytime I play unranked, low elo laners leave lanes randomly to roam, and give away free towers Easily the worst mistake. I see it every time. Even if they get a kill, you gave up more gold….
Nah in my server opposite of mistake 6 always happens and I am in silver... No one comes for objective when they have priority and pushes more waves for some reason allowing enemy to respond and get there and outnumber. Never have I seen teams intentionally grouping for objective unless jg pings.
Same here been playing jgl for years hard stuck silver. No one's come at objectives, I always find myself there alone and sometimes I ignore them because of that and after we lose they spam : no drakes. Lol am I supposed to 1 v 4 on drakes ?
My last match I was Mel support. 60 seconds before dragon spawn, both teams start hovering the pit. My adc wanted to go, too, despite my asking him to just keep pushing since we had vision of the whole enemy team. He ignored me and went anyway. I kept pushing alone. Fight breaks out, I keep pushing. My team starts dying, I keep pushing. Dragons spawns, enemy team grabs it and beelines to our inner mid tower. By the time they realized I was at their nexus, it was over. Pretty funny.
Counter point, if you don't join your team for random fights or objectives. They lose fights and enemy team becomes fed which in turn makes you useless in other lanes. It's a lose lose this game is just AIDS 😂
And what do you do when no ward is placed to track the jgl and he ganks you bot lvl 3 only having done one side? You either die or lose summs. Meanwhile your jgl refuses to invade and simply clears and paths away from your lane before dying top 2vs2. Typical
What a comment. I’m diamond let me tell you. People in low diamond make these mistakes alllllll the time. Let alone gold. The difference between emerald to gold is so big you got no clue. Just try take something from each video. I’m a jgler and this was a great reminder I don’t think enough about using patience.
So what about when my team fights 4v5 while I push a side lane, they all die, then the enemy team moves to me with a pinser and all I got was half a turret? Actual question.
Vision and map awareness so you can back off earlier. If you bait their whole team into a side lane, it means they will not be at an objective. So even if you don't get the tower, you've succeeded so long as you make it out alive.
You run the second they commit to coming for you. If they kill your dumbass team then the best case scenario at that point is they commit resources to chasing you rather than getting turrets/objectives. It feels bad to not get a tower out of your team dying, I understand, but sometimes the best you can do in league is minimize losses. Pincer move on you means they arent pushing your base or doing baron. Just leave. Even if you end up dying after a long chase, you still wasted their time and momentum
League was always just meta. If you ever picked anything off-meta you would get flamed. This season the game is more off meta it has ever been. People play mages bot, they play mages and adcs top, vayne jungle etc.
babe wake up, ezreal is explaining low elo mistakes again
Atleast my team is immune from Objective syndrome , they don't gather for soul, baron or elder .
And you’re mad about it, which says a lot about
Could be you have over committing to them but it’s probabaly a two way problem especially in low elo souls baron and elder kinda suck because they don’t know how to use it to end the game 😂

Because low elo never does obj
ive lost countless games because the team prioritized a drake over ending the game after an ace. 🤦♂️
@SLOWBRNMUSICI’ve had teammates ping me to death saying I’m not at an objective when there’s literally a chat timeline of my pings and text setting us up. Thanks
Same :) I main jungle and have that issue. Everyone wants to go in and contest objectives and waste time. Farm is really the advantage in this game
Started in January and I've caught myself in decision paralysis cos I don't want to cross the river solo as an ADC but see a fight i know is lost somewhere else and then don't know what to do.

thank you so much for the information it made me realize all my mistakes.
On the first mistake, its never an option to play safe, so you should ward.
Because when you play safe there, your jng will go for scuttle and get collapsed, you cant change him, so its always better to have prio with vision

My top laner always die to lv2 ganks lol 😆
idk, as a top laner whenever i push the lane there's always someone to clear lane fast enough to defend the turret. i could tp but usually the play is over by then or not worth it.
I just got back to the game and I feel called out by #8. ouch...
Also good to know and its time to play "greedy" again.
00:40 this explains a lot about my teammates
my one mistake all time is that i did not flame my team enough
Whenever I play jungle, I do drag the camps while moving to the next one, but as eve, I still don't get to scuttle on time, I don't get it
Can't really agree with the overgrouping part because someone always dies if you have 2 people in side lanes. It's not possible to ward the entire map so you have full vision on the enemy team and that means players need to use their brains and turn the minimap on which doesn't happen.
is it 16 seconds to botlane with boots or without them?
2:14 lies they gank me at lv 2
It’s a good challenge !
what should I do if im splitting (like the irelia should have done) and then my teammates initiate the 4v5 all while question mark pinging me?
Mistake #0, Queueing for ranked in low ELO
Join Skill-Capped to ACTUALLY start climbing this year! Here's your special Season 16 Discount: www.skill-capped.com/lol#S16Mistakes
If I am just watching youtube and go down one or two ranks each season. Do I still get the money back of what the course cost?
My issue with league is, I watch your videos and learn a lot but the game is flooded with smurfs, I play ranked and constantly play against some Smurf who dominates so I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel very frustrating for a new player
what is the music in the backgroud? on mistake 8
If laners died 3;30 its jgl gapped everytime
Mistake 6: In your Macro video just one month ago you say "Drakes are without doubt the most important win condition"
What now? Drake or not? Or do you just say what you want, based on what point you're trying to make to lure people into your paid courses?
the objective and grouping is so real tho i saw a huge pile of gold at top lane and my top laner decide to camp at drake with 30 sec spawn time
Yeah, it's dumb, because the risk of contesting a drake isn't worth the reward, when you could get waves of minions, and plates by pushing a lane, maybe even take down a turret if it's low enough. I sometimes don't even bother with going for the first couple of drakes, just so I can get some lane pressure in, unless I'm ahead enough to get some nice picks from the ensuing teamfight over it.
"Imagine if Irelia had just committed to pushing top"
No need to imagine, we know - Irelia would get flamed by the entire team.
Mistake 9: Playing the game too much, take a break 😭
My biggest problem is idk what role i wanna play :/
Is the side lane tactic work if u are an adc and u r mid wanna stay mid ?
You just have to go where you can farm without splitting it. If your mid/adc doesn't want to move you just have to play around it
I'm plat1 euw going for Emerald again after reset and one of these mistakes happen at least once in a game in Plat 1 elo, and is usually capitalised immediately making your life two times worse for the time being. Good tips 👍🏼
For me these are all iron to bronze mistakes, there's something disgusting with mmr system.
It’s really annoying when your team acts like every dra needs to be contested
If you need to ward enemy chickens to know where the jgl is then you shouldn't be in my fking low elo games.
So if im low elo and dont do those, that just proves elo hell lol
"Or what the team will say" is HUGE.
Either mute all and work with pings, or try and communicate even if it falls on deaf ears. If you are too worried about flame, you should probably not play at all.

you forgot the number one biggest mistake. not muting all
I cant kite, Im bad at last hitting, bad at dodging abilities and attacks especially as a melee vs ranged, and its hard for me to play on unlocked camera
I lost all games enemy got all drakes and won all games my team took all drakes so its kinda real thing
taking soul is almost a guaranteed win.

The more videos like this that I see, the more I realize there needs to be a full (or mostly) full video on how to scratch and claw out of iron as a new player. Have it cover the absolute anarchy that is Iron and how none of the normal rules apply 😂
Fun fact. It doesn't change much even going as high as diamond.
@TnargavI figured as much as it’s similar in all online games
The refund is a massive lie.
Question... I'm a Wild Rift player, which means I play on mobile and a lot of things are different. Does your guides still apply there?
The times are different because wild rift games are faster but the logic still applies.
Just returned to League and placed.... Iron 1 :) HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHA im so bad
More people should watch these videos. I hate people trying to tell me how to jungle when I'm trading 1 worthless dragon for tempo, a free gank, or counter jungling and getting a nice lead. Deadlock
only 8? i can easily come up with another 20
actually i can hardly come up with 8 things they do that aren't mistakes
Anytime I play unranked, low elo laners leave lanes randomly to roam, and give away free towers
Easily the worst mistake. I see it every time. Even if they get a kill, you gave up more gold….
wrong, many roaming laners prefer to trade their plates in exchange for map pressure, then oneshot you later and get all your plates anyways

@RebirthGamingDrc well just dont take the objective if no one is there to help you. Keep farming or look to gank a lane.
Facts
you can join and wait, if you see that it's gonna be a lost fight you can just back away and farm the wave
Stop brainwashing people. Matchmaking is rigged.
1:40 no mean of offenses, there is a typo of “Rito” instead of “Riot”.💙
Its a joke lol
We say "Rito" as a way to poke fun at them
People have been saying RITO for 16 years
I'm almost diamond and make some of these mistakes, does that mean every elo is low Elo?
Diamons is still considered low elo. specially 4-3-2
Gold-emerald (and even low diamond) is medium tier. High tier doesn't really start until D1.
diamond, even plat was always considered high elo, until they come up with masters, grandmasters, emerald and the other nonsense elos
And what do you do when no ward is placed to track the jgl and he ganks you bot lvl 3 only having done one side? You either die or lose summs.
Meanwhile your jgl refuses to invade and simply clears and paths away from your lane before dying top 2vs2. Typical
My big worst mistake play League of Legends
Second
THIRD!
Lol what you consider low elo? Cuz i am hard stuck gold and i dont make that dumb mistakes
What a comment. I’m diamond let me tell you. People in low diamond make these mistakes alllllll the time. Let alone gold. The difference between emerald to gold is so big you got no clue. Just try take something from each video. I’m a jgler and this was a great reminder I don’t think enough about using patience.
I guarantee you make these mistakes all the time..and if not theee then so many others. Being hardstuck gold is for sure low elo.
@chibee1108nope, i am just to slow and old for this game. Macro is ez
@Kem3s is that why ur hardstuck gold? XD
100% ragebait
FIRST
your amazng!
So what about when my team fights 4v5 while I push a side lane, they all die, then the enemy team moves to me with a pinser and all I got was half a turret? Actual question.
Push the side line before the team fight/objective or have tp
Your team died so you don't greed and you back x)
They blame you for not being with them, vote for ff and report you. This videos are totally out of touch. Only micro plays matter lower than diamond
I think this really proves to me how much this game has shifted to how it once was
Which was it was really a TEAM game !
Now its just “meta”
League was always just meta. If you ever picked anything off-meta you would get flamed. This season the game is more off meta it has ever been. People play mages bot, they play mages and adcs top, vayne jungle etc.
@mybad2603always meta options, yet i still feel something is just missing from the game,
I also didnt play fromlike 2018-2024
