100% agree with Andy (sad day) on IP consolidation discussion.
The other odd thing with not letting other studios develop games is that they aren't hurting for story lines. Whether you enjoy the books or not, seems strange they don't use some of that material and adapt it for the larger community.
I'd say a full third are well-written sci-fi and Halo Wars 3 would already have some incredible material to draw on.

Have to admit, the premise of Young Chief getting his bearings as a leader with Johnson thrown in the mix sounded like unnecessary nostalgia bait. Against all odds, it was incredible, especially Johnson. Maybe the best stand-alone entry of the halo books.
Did you read Divine Wind? Got me right in the feels, and pumped for HW3, if it ever releases.

@@YaBoySieg Hell yeah. Cole Protocol would be fricking sweet as a game.
They are worth the time. I love the ferrets (probably the best of the Spartan 3 stories). Epitaph ties many things together and retroactively explains Halo 5 and Infinite in greater detail, which is totally fine as long as they aren't key details (some might be considered as such).
Legacy of Onyx was also better than I anticipated given the premise, and the Unggoy lore is straight up awesome.
Yes more devs on halo. Now that Xbox owns blizzard I want to see a Halo ARPG made by the Diablo team, or Halo Wars 3 made collaboratively by Creative Assembly and the StarCraft team.

I think if you titled the videos to be what you're talking about they'd do better. Like the whole topic of gamepass and teh aquisitions and stuff was really interesting to listen to. Rather then "I built tanks in halo wars 2". (no offense, love the videos, i have no idea what im talking about either im just a monkey). So rather than juts a halo wars video, its now a discussion video with halowars gameplay

I will never understand the direction they took Bethesda. They took the studio thats most notable meme was releasing Skyrim on every device known to man and made their games exclusives. Elder Scrolls and Fallout thrived by being multiplatform. Any future sequels they put out will never come close to their previous sales numbers, and out of touch executives will scratch their heads and wonder why.
