Omg Trina!!! That took me back. I def agree and even watching Trina videos back in the day, it didn't feel like it does now. Female artists were extremely diverse. Female rappers had different vibes, different sounds, different messages. Also, that Eve song and music video had such a strong message. If i remember correctly, that video created sooo much conversation around domestic violence. Random thought: Sexy red came out with lipglosses. These glosses didn't appear to be marketed to young women, old women, old men or young men. These lipglosses looked like they would be found in the kids section. Some of these lipglosses are named: P***yhole Pink," "Yellow Discharge," "Gonorrhea," "Blue Ballz," and "Sex On My Period." At some point, I have to believe that this sells. That the current world wants to see messy.
