Blue's Clues is an American live-action/animated children's television series that premiered on Nickelodeon as part of its Nick Jr. block on September 8, 1996, and concluded its run on August 6, 2006.
Blue's Clues is an American live-action/animated children's television series that premiered on Nickelodeon as part of its Nick Jr. block on September 8, 1996,[2] and concluded its run on August 6, 2006. Producers/creators Angela Santomero, Todd Kessler, and Traci Paige Johnson combined concepts from child development and early-childhood education with innovative animation and production techniques that helped their viewers learn. The show was originally hosted by Steve Burns, who left in 2002 and was replaced by Donovan Patton as Joe for the rest of the series. The show follows an animated blue-spotted dog named Blue as she leaves a trail of clues/paw prints for the host and the viewers to figure out her plans for the day. Blue's Clues became the highest-rated show for preschoolers on American commercial television and was critical to Nickelodeon's growth. A spin-off called Blue's Room premiered in 2004. A revival of the series titled Blue's Clues & You! premiered on Nickelodeon on November 11, 2019.
Monokuma is a fictional identity adopted by several characters in the Danganronpa series, serving as the mascot and main antagonist of the series

@@YouLoveSkyler I got a pretty good idea on but the only problem is text to speech will probably not get any of the Danganronpa names and I can't type well
I love specifically how much you talked about and praised the dynamic of Blue embracing her being a kid's show and instead using it as a brag and making fun of Monokuma for somehow having a more childish, uneducated and immature fanbase. When writing, I wanted to make sure to approach the whole "adult murder mystery series vs preschool educational show" with a lot more nuance than just "im for adults, youre for babies" and using that as a diss - Monokuma starting and attempting to use that against Blue to a degree without being a blatant hypocrite (his actual disses about Blue's Clues are more about how it teaches kids than the fact it is for kids, Monokuma is smart enough to know to approach that carefully) and Blue immediately shutting it down and flipping the entire dynamic by asserting that they're both shows with large kid audiences, but at least Blue's Clues is MEANT for kids while Danganronpa is an adult series that is so stupid that only kids like it. I feel like a lot of battles with properties for kids rely on that too much and I'm proud of how I subverted it.

Fun thing I didn't notice til after a couple watches, towards the very end of the battle Monokuma is being dragged by a rope to a room that gets shut off which is how every single first trial execution starts. Such a good detail

Secondly, thank you for promoting the kickstarter! It's been a tough week, since I've lost the show and subsequently all rap battle animations in a hard drive crash. To see this really lifted me up!
Finally, I really like all the subtle details you noticed I put into the animations! They're always fun to do, and it's been a blast working with Eddie!
One fun thing I noticed was at the start of Blue’s first verse, the tree seemed to be moving to the beat.

it does leave me a little disappointed though. it's always fun to see people's first reaction to the despair scheme that monokuma pulled, I would've loved to see your reaction to it. maybe consider doing reactions and deeper breakdowns for the same battle in the future?
I don't think I would do two separate videos, but I may record my reaction and add it in sprinkles on my reviews. The despair scheme was solid, but it didnt get much from me so you would have been disappointed

@@YouLoveSkyler A lot of them have been in smaller channels and more amateur projects. Jesse has proven they are extremely capable of big roles at this point, and I believe Blue vs Monokuma is the first HUGE production they've been a part of, but they have several months of experience and you'll most definitely see them around more.

Wario vs shadow from video game rap battles or cam steady. If you do all the Mario vs Sonic ones even better. They progressively get better imo. Just a suggestion though also this format was lit you earned my sub keep it up.

I think you should do a review on El Chupacabra vs Mothman pretty underrated and is a banger!
I listened to it on the video. This was a good review in my opinion. I think it was a tie to an extent. They both had good lines especially in the beginning. Yeah the artstyle didn't match up. But I think with these they're trying to take inspiration from ERB to an extent. I'm personally leaning towards Monokuma especially when he brought the original steve into this. With these they have a bad habit of having second verses from whoever went first being short while having whoever goes second get a longer one. You can see it in their other videos sometimes. It can be entertaining. But I personally think it was a tie with a good leaning to Monokuma.
