Here are my different reactions to watching a Fast Money win depending on which version I watch: On a Dawson episode: "You got it!" On a Combs episode: "You got the cash!" On an episode from the current version: Jumping up and down and then "They got it!"
World Series Fact--the 1980 World Series was the first to be played entirely on artificial turf, as then-Royals Stadium (now Kaufman Stadium) had artificial turf until 1994. FTR, the other WS to be played entirely on turf were 1985 (Royals/Cardinals), 1987 (Twins/Cardinals), and 1993 (Blue Jays/Phillies).
Right about 13.03 I noticed one guy dipping, then I noticed cups in front of *all* of them. FFS they couldn't stop for a half hour?! Dip's always nasty, but it looks all the worse because they dressed up and otherwise look nice. I applaud the guy with the lollipop--much better idea. Edited to add: Wow! That guy seemed like the worst player ever, then suddenly, he wins the Fast Money by himself! When dictionaries begin having videos next to definitions, *this* should be next to "thrive under pressure"!
Richard seems a little more assertive in this one. Like, being the host, he's gotta maintain his alpha male status with all that testosterone in the room.
This was the perfect show for a lot of cool team competitions. As far as I know, they only did the World Series once.
I've heard that an early Combs episode from 1988 had the Dodgers and A's playing each other...
No George Brett? What a gyp, considering he and Mike Schmidt were their respective league MVPs in 1980 (with Brett batting a sweet .390).
you can tell that these boys played the game for the love of it...unlike todays stars who are only in it for the money.
I loved this episode cause of the Phillies.
Garry Maddox was played by Tim Reid.
I watched this back then cool

Richard Dawson should have worn an Umpire's uniform!
🚬 is the number one answer.
Fuel is also number one.
Sand is something you see in the desert.
Clothes is number one
Blue is the color of bedsheets
I used to watch this in the 90's on GSN .. didn't really watch the ones that were live during that time, just the classics
It's on BUZZR now.
I love it for the Royals..
The only celebrity show of the original Feud where Dawson did not wear a tuxedo.
Who needs help? 200 points right off the bat!
I wonder why, today's FF dropped solo FM wins.
And to think the Royals haven't won the World Series since 1985 - RIP Dan Quisenberry and Paul Splittorff!
Why do they have the hats on the wrong team's side?? I don't get it.
This is the PM version if anyone asks.

It's a kind of respect to the other team I guess..
That was a........."Solo Home Run," if you will, and yes, had to.
Wathan's nickname was Duke,,
Did anyone hear the word alligator be said at around 9:28?
Why were the hats on the wrong side? Makes no sense to me.

Sunflower seeds?
Kaveman Gaming In ‘80 it woulda been dip. I’m surprised it wasn’t loose leaf tobacco, considering the time.
9:26 XoD
I thought when the Phillies were introducted, that the black guy was adopted :/
