Being a long time lover of rugby it is good to see the skills in the women's game. Ellie shows pure class and is a delight to watch, fact is I watch all England games men and women and I am never disappointed. Well deserved.
A well-deserved honour for Ellie Kildunne. I've seen her play on quite a few occasions and she is impressive and, sometimes, spectacular. She's incredibly strong in attack, often breaks the tackle and, given even a hint of space can be off like a rocket. Well done! I do hope though, at some point, Alex Matthews will get the real recognition she deserves. She too is a fantastic player and has had a major influence on the success of the Red Roses over many seasons. Tireless, totally committed, physical, fast and fearless. What a great player!
I really thought it was Alex Matthews year this year, a real class act over the year, but it was good to see two English ladies in the mix but there is no doubting Ellie Kildunnes class, and she did score a lot of tries in the year.
@@geoffpalmer6424 I take nothing from Ellie K's accomplishments this year. Perhaps a 'Best forward' category should be added to the awards. They don't always do the spectacular stuff, but their influence on the game deserves its own award, I think. From an ancient former member of the pack.
A great ambassador for women's rugby. A thorough-bred sprinter amongst cobs. A lithe, classy operator. 'Easy on the eye'; born to fly. Well done young lady 🏴☠ ☘
Ellie could fit into any team in a collection of positions. She just adds to the excitement of watching ladies rugby, from within the total team that England currently has, from 1-15. It is all a joy to watch.
Well done Ellie ! Well deserved, so pleased for you and English women’s rugby, you are a fantastic player, team player and an inspiration to all players, a great ambassador for rugby on and off the field, weather it is for Harlequins or England 🏴, and best of all, you are from Yorkshire! Congratulations Elle, well done, well deserved, Kenny, Doncaster
Despite my initial reservations I thoroughly enjoy watching the England ladies team particularly the very speedy Ellie. They play rugby as it should be played.
Ellie Ellie Kildunne wow a Blond Bombshell that moves so sweetly and quick as a flash. She is the complete player can pass an eye for the gap through witch she goes at speed, and more importantly awareness when to release ball to outside backs. She is strong and not scared to take the ball into contact. Has great hands and snaps up any opportunity. She annihilated us (silver ferns) and made one of our best players Katelyn Vaha'akolo look very mediocre. England and New Zealand have great players and for her to stand out amongst this lot says a lot.
Genuinely think that the reason why Kildunne has had such a great season is because, in Abby Dow’s words, she’s learnt to pass. She’s always been a dangerous runner, but for a long time she was predictable because you knew she was going to run. Now, you might suspect she’ll run it and she probably will, but you’ve got to mark her supporting players because now she will pass to them, likewise she will kick. To put it simply, she’s become a more rounded player and it’s made her a better player
Admittedly ive only just discovered this video, but i have to say Miss(?) Kildunne is a better player than some men ive seen. Pace to burn and talent with it
Kildunne is easily the best 15 in the womens game right now she is deverstating as an attacker but her defense is pretty dam good as well. I think Kildunne is a great pick I would have gone for Alex mathews my self though. She is the engine of this dominate England team. Everything good they do flows though Matthews.
Love that try against the USA. Ellie Kildunne should trust her pace like that more often. When Abby Dow gets the ball her first thought is always to burn round the opposition and score a try. Its not a criticism. I just think she should counter more from fullback. It seems a shame for a player with that much pace to ever just hoof the ball up the field.
She was seriously under used at the world cup because England's forwards were so strong, I feel England are now almost unstoppable back's and forward's, the black ferns need some serious improvement to stop this team .

Hugely well deserved accolade for Ellie !!! The best attacking player in the women’s game for several years.
WELL DONE ELLIE !!!!!!!
Congratulations on your achievement a justified recognition for your skills and athleticism
What a player well deserved
A well deserved award...she adds class and guile to the game of rugby 😊👌
well deserved ellie
Huge congrats ellie world player of the year ❤
Fantastic player, has been for some time. Great job Ellie, you are a star.

And men don't. Strange comment.
Yaay! Congratulations to Ellie. Making rugby such an attractive spectacle.
Ellie is the whole package of athletics. Speed, ability and strong. An absolute joy to watch. Well done for a great year with the Rose's.

Watch her from fan to fantastic!
Fantastic Kildunne

She is also faster and runs a better line than previously. She thinks rugby. I suspect some of this might be due to Abby's influence.

She is a great female player, but she would get smoked by average men...
She's been flawless this year, for Quins and England. If she isn't voted sports personality of the year it will be a disgrace.
i LOVE WOMEN'S RUGBY.

A fascinating compilation, showing the skill spread right across the team, quite apart from the star in the spotlight.
She is exceptional,
Congratulations to the Keighley cowgirl. Well deserved.
Truly heroic English woman. OBE??
She’s sick man!

Where’s all the action from the six nations? That was in 2024 too
