Playing with assist is like going bowling with the guard rails up. Saying you won with assist is cheating in a tournament. It literally keeps you from falling off.
A little tip; anytime you see a speed-bump or a little ramp, press the r1 trigger when you make contact with it. It’ll give you a little speed boost when you land on the ground.
