I can see why "Time Crisis" and "Lethal Enforcers" were more popular - players didn't have to put up with bad acting. Ha, the strip club show goes on, despite the carnage.

If you fail to shoot the target before they shoot you, you lose a life, and a scene for that is triggered (this happened at 15:00 - “I thought you were Delta Force.”) There’s even scenes programmed in for when an innocent person is shot. A CAV laserdisc has 54,000 individual frames of video. Depending on whether you shot the correct part of the screen or not, the laser player seeks the appropriate frame so fast, it’s almost imperceptible. (Simulating these games on a computer is a huge undertaking, requiring many gigabytes of storage space.)
