Benedictus by Brian Lewis - Kaitlyn & Serena (PMF 2024)

This is a beautiful piece of music published in one of the Alfred duet books but also available as a choral piece. The adjudicator suggested they switch parts with their voice types and on the spot they did and the blend was so much more balanced. Wish I had that recording. A special moment as it was Serena's last year in the local Festival and the girl's are first cousins and had never sung a duet together before and study with different voice teachers. I will be adding a duet help recording with the voices in separate ears to assist with practice if you intend to sing this duet. The pianist was Maya Dion, a gifted accompanist also in her last Festival. I wish both Maya success in their further music studies.
