20 yr. land clearing guy here & the 52k lb. Rayco 415 (415hp-1,370 lbs/ft torque) I run has a 9k muncher head on it that refuses to encounter any tree in its way & slow down! Absolute Beast! Great vid.. Nice tutorial 👍🏼
You've got yourself a small forest and have done an amazing job of stewardship and bringing life back to that area! The remaining trees can now thrive and the forest floor can get light, air and begin to regenerate. I bet you see a whole host of wild flowers in the spring!
I have a friend with a forestry mulcher on a skid steer. An amazing machine! My wife and i were hand clearing a mess of bush: mostly aspen trees with tons of dead and dying willow bushes maybe thirty feet high. An awful tangle. I finally came to my senses and hired my friend. His machine obliterated that bush in just a few hours. Two years later, the area is a beautiful meadow.
I have a Diamond mulcher on a Bobcat mini-ex. Total game changer. I had to add a front window guard but with a few hours of running and some common sense all I can say is WOW !!!
very satisfying to watch. That sense of achievement when you're finished will be amazing. how to turn a crappy job in to something enjoyable to do, fantastic.
those things are amazing. I hired a guy with one and he just dove in my brush backyard, cleared up everything and left the nice big trees open for grass beneath. the only bad thing is he found some random trash buried in the woods and it tore up some of his teeth, he wasn't happy, but it looks amazing. worth every penny. I want to try and fit one to our backhoe, don't want to buy another machine just to run that head
Hey man, that's what those guys know going into a cleanup. With that said, I would love to have this attachment to cleanup my overgrown Christmas tree farm.
I’ve watched several videos with similar attachments on the rear of small tractors. Similar outcome, very effective. It all boils down to cost vs payback!
Now that is EXACTLY what I have been wanting - a mulcher that would run without high flow. High flow is expensive at purchase so unfortunately I don’t have it either.
Awesome...Seen one years ago fishing a Tournament...We thought someone was throwing rocks at us...then we heard and seen the machine...Clearing a lake lot...Cant wait to see you get started on it...Nice Hat
You are like a kid in a candy shop! The excitement on your face is awesome and I say if you can justify it in your mind for whatever reason, then you should buy it. I’m sure you will do the right thing for you! Cheers Kyle
Upgrade your skid loader and buy the mulcher. That way you can offer clearing the property as well as building the building. Simplifies the process for the buyer and allows you to charge a lot more for the project. You’ll pay for the equipment quickly. And maybe spin off an additional profit center.
With these it saves you dragging a mobile mulcher along and having to lift the trees into it. Looking forward to this build series, But know you have to keep youre business going, And spend time with the Fam.
Bet your JCB has enough flow to really max that baby. but even on Jr. it did a great job- and the tune up results were very visible from my side of the screen! If you are willing to invest at least one day a month to it. It would make sense and likely get your bank back in a year or two. As I pointed out- it will likely sing even better on your JCB "One Armed Bandit". Btw, it comes to me, that you already own every other piece of equipment to do that- this sounds a "natch. And one of your boys is getting on to big enough to run one of these too- good experience and pocket money he earned.
Ive seen a dude called andrew camerata use one and he owns it. Good for getting rid of stumps but i cant wait for you to build your new workshop brother. Been waiting for the videos to come out lol. Keep up the good work
I’d check the local area and see how popular they are if your planning to make a business out of it. They are 100s of them around me. So it’s more difficult for lot of the new guys starting out to get work. I love to see you do it. I watch few other channels on it. I want to get one for an excavator cuz those are not very popular here. I just scared to take that risk and leave my day job
WOW Kyle, that mulcher is amazing. Looke like a piece of equiptment that you should buy & put it to work to pay for it's self. Just wondering if changing out your hydralics to high flow would be cost efferctive???.... Sincerely, the old Montana cowboy, Frank Scherping😮😂
If there's any LetsDig18 subs on here, then we saw a mulcher about 10 days ago. 😁 But his was only the 2nd time I've run across a mulcher in action on the RUclips.
I think it would be incredibly useful down here in TN, maybe not so much in IL. I'm seeing prices online from $25k to $45k....gonna take a LOT of Saturdays to pay for that!
That is awesome! Curious as if you would take a job in the UP of Michigan. I love the quality driven ideals you have and the materials you use are perfect.
Kyle. It must drive yiu nuts how faded your Kubota is and and your boom. Time for paint job, or maybe a good compound /w polish could bring the paint bac
Epid, eh? :) Spell Check on aisle one. :) Nice tool review. Those are great, and they are small enough to use on a skid steer. They have them for Backhoe's also, in case you were curious.
Nice piece of kit for sure. I have 11 Acres that is totally overgrown. It hasn't been touched since I bought it nearly 30 years ago. I mean NEVER been touched. I'm sure the neighbors hate me. LOL. This is probably what it would take to cut that all down. I am NOT looking forward to hearing what a brush hog business is going to charge us, it will be at least $3K, even if I just do the area we may build on and ignore the rest. I know the culvert I need is around $10K (yep...72" culvert plus all the concrete (even using bags), plus the permit). CRAZY money now. That thing for sure could probably just be driven back and forth and clear out 90% of what I have.
@@lisawallace3124That attachment is probably $10K+ I haven't gotten any quotes yet, but when I was up paying the taxes some said "11 Acres is a 4 man crew with HEAVY equipment for never being touched in nearly 30 years, it's a 2 day job". I did the math quick...$5K more likely to have it done, could be higher. I also have to put the culvert in before they can clear it...again, $10K for that. Not going to be cheap. :(
Seen mulches before but first time I’ve seen one tuned for standard flow always heard if you don’t have hi flow you can’t have one wonder what other attachments can be tuned for standard flow
This is exactly what I need for my acreage ! Price ? Promo code ? Lol .Seriously I am in Canada and want to buy one -we have a 95-2 Kubota with high flow.
Kyle, when you start building your new shop, can you pleas go into detail on how to determine post height specifically for inner two story building?? please???
First if your machine isn’t equipped with the forestry ballistic door glass you’re sitting behind a shrapnel bomb that’s going to explode when you hit that one rock you didn’t see… second the upkeep on those heads are atrocious and the wear on your skid not being forestry ready will destroy it with high temperatures in both hydraulic & engine cooling systems.. take it from someone who has a $300,000 tigercat mulcher we use in Hazelnuts cleaning pruning debris they eat money as fast or faster than wood..😢
Yes, this is what I’ve heard many skid steer mechanics say about mulchers on medium sized machines. They wear them out. My stump grinder causes my hydraulic oil to get really hot. Maybe same deal. I’m trying a tree shear instead of a mulcher.
That was an all terrain wheelchair. Fantastic for everyone, you deserve all the toys.
Better keep that cab door closed. Seen a guy almost get killed leaving that door open while mulching.
He does lol- he didn’t have it closed so he could hear the rep guy/ calm down tough guy
That track chair was more impressive than the miniforest attachment!

Your young, you will use it over the years. It is an amazing tool to have.
Wow! Fantastic job! First time I've ever seen one of those mulchers.
That’s amazing! First time to see an attachment like this. Sure will make your yard awesome! Thanks for sharing it!

Forget the mulcher... thats a Bada$$ wheelchair
true Troy did have a sweet rig to help around the off site job site...good dude and knowledgable too.
You need this bad boy 💪🏻👌🏻. It’s super easy to justify - like the toolsday series - you can do Monday Mulching 🥳👍🏻
Awesome...Seen one years ago fishing a Tournament...We thought someone was throwing rocks at us...then we heard and seen the machine...Clearing a lake lot...Cant wait to see you get started on it...Nice Hat
Company I work has same faded powder coat on a Kubota skid steer. We spray Dakota Shine on it annually, from 20 feet away it makes it look brand new
2 awesome machines tin this video. The mulcher and the Trackchair! A 2 mi nute demo of the chair would have been cool.
That would be cool!
Buy it! There is nothing more satisfying than clearing brush like this.
I do agree with you...I need to make money with it tho...it's a lot of money
Get yourself a ballistic window, you are playing with your life
That wheel chair was awesome
Forestry mulchers are pretty awesome. My buddy has a couple of them.
You are like a kid in a candy shop! The excitement on your face is awesome and I say if you can justify it in your mind for whatever reason, then you should buy it. I’m sure you will do the right thing for you! Cheers Kyle
Looks addictive! It does seem like there's always some overgrowth to clear out.
Good addition to the company. Problem is time to operate it
I agree, thats pretty Epid
Shiny new attachment makes the Kubota look so faded.
So?
go for it ! you can add the clearing option for builds in a wooden location for your costumers.

I have never seen a mulcher like this! Thanks for the update, I have seen stump grinders
I've seen some nice mulchers attached to excavators with a tilt-rotor head. Seemed to be quite versatile.
With these it saves you dragging a mobile mulcher along and having to lift the trees into it. Looking forward to this build series, But know you have to keep youre business going, And spend time with the Fam.
Damn. That would have made Fargo a much more interesting movie.
Incredible! First time seeing one in action.

Great video guys!🤟
Hold your horses buddy. Mulching is fun and you did good, but is time you let it go, Greg is not going to make fun of himself, we need you.
You may want to fix the video description. The product is called "MiniForst cl 150" with no "e" not "MiniForest 15"
Yikes probably auto correct

To be honest it bothers me but I haven’t made it a priority either

I bet that attachment costs more than the $3k someone would charge you....
You could buy or rent one. If you buy it, at the end when the land is cleaned up, you could sell the mulcher for at least half of what it cost you.
@@lisawallace3124That attachment is probably $10K+

That's like a regular lawn mower that's been hulked up 🤣
They are even better with a high flow machine.
That was Awesome! I say go for it, BUY IT!!!!
Like a snow blower for zombies. 👍
I like it.
Can't wait to see the video series around RR v 2.0 build
WOW, that's an amazing piece of equipment!!
I’ve budgeted $500,000 for truck, trailer, and loader with forestry kit and mulcher. I’m ready to go, just looking for the half million 😂
The right tool for the job!
It is hard to tell from the video but are you going to have enough room in that spot? Seems like a lot of houses nearby.
Most *Epid* Skid Loader Attachment I've Ever Used? Should be "Epic"?
Yeah those are cool, I'll watch IDigit4 do work around ponds & stuff...
I’m surprised you let the kubota paint job get so faded that would drive me insane.
He ha more important things to do
Seen mulches before but first time I’ve seen one tuned for standard flow always heard if you don’t have hi flow you can’t have one wonder what other attachments can be tuned for standard flow
This is exactly what I need for my acreage ! Price ? Promo code ? Lol .Seriously I am in Canada and want to buy one -we have a 95-2 Kubota with high flow.
runs in the low 30s no promo code or anything
Thank you sir.I just filled out their contact form on their website. Will let you know how it works out!@@RRBuildings
They are awesome but a hi flow machine mulching is next level
Skid steers are so much better than tractors
man, that put the one that daniel at Arms Family Homestead got to shame. Much more maneuverable, useable.
maybe he never actually tuned it
@@RRBuildings it wasn't the same kind as yours call it was I think a rhino kind of like a bush hog attachment for the front of a skid steer
That’s a sweet tool
We need them in DC!
Epid?
I'm fixing to buy one I know it's 7 months al ready how is it now enny problems
Let the big dog eat! Cool tool.
I think you could find good uses for it
I would say buy it cause you could use it to clear lots you have to build on.
I'll watch anything you post your so handsome
Where are you located I live in saraland Alabama right by mobile
Buy it. Get an employee to run it as a side business.
BEAST..!!!!!
Kyle, when you start building your new shop, can you pleas go into detail on how to determine post height specifically for inner two story building?? please???
That thing is freaking awesome
Is Epid the brand of that skid loader attachment
That is scary. But cool 😎
That’s amazing !
I thought your new (last year?) Kubota had high flow?
nope
Letsdig18 has just got the same one.
How many snakes did you mulch in the process? 🤣
Where's Greg? Probably off having a cold one!
Good job. AWC approved
I have 3-1/2 acres wanting to clear for trails
Now you can see the neighbors
Yah forestry heads EAT!
Where can a guy rent these in MO/IL?
Google it
Epic
i wanna see that wheelchair
I'd imagined seeing this on Andrew's channel. But hey, Kyle'll do. Haha! Nice job RRB.
Your son could make some serious money with that rig.
Buy it!!
Buy it!!!

You should buy and hire a driver so you can rent it out as driver and machine on a daily rate you would get your money back no problem
Epid fo shiz...
