Beautiful reaction to the video and the song. The lead singer, Dolores O'Riordan (rest in peace, 1971-2018) is showing us her family, telling us how her parents loved and protected her, and now that she's an adult, she misses that love and protection. And like a curious little child, she's wondering if The Cranberries fans really see her for who she is, an ordinary Irish girl from a humble background. She's telling her fans, "Look at my story. I'm an ordinary girl from the west of Ireland.." The people in the video look and act exactly they way the people I grew up in Ireland.

In july was in Ballybricken-Ballyneety walking around all the area where Dolores grew up, more than 12 kms. As a die hard fan of The Cranberries and Dolores, It was amazing.

I think the song was written by Dolores (R I P) about people not understanding her truly when she talks about family and it's more that they just want to hear her sing, which don't get me wrong I don't blame them she has a beautiful voice, but I think, I might be wrong here, it's like she's trying to explain about her life and family to people but they just have no interest in it, like they don't really care about the appreciation of her story or of family in general and just have the fascination of her and her singing and stardom. I read something like that somewhere I can't remember where, I'm probably completely wrong, I know someone is gonna say so
