I spent a week in customer support with StreamYard, the support was fast, but a bit condescending until I was kicked up to 'supervisors", I spent two solid days trying to A/B this against other platforms and in the end the ease of use did not outweigh the degraded audio/video quality.. I would not say it is "shitty" I would said convenient but very limited, if you do not require high quality audio and are not concerned about some degraded video, this is a very easy fast solution...needless to say I am trying to work in OBS now

I have struggled for months with OBS I am trying to do gaming live streams but no matter what I do I can never get it because it's too complicated. Can someone tell me if with this one I can livestream games?
OBS is awsome software. Admittedly, it is a bit technical for the lay person. There is a balance between features and simplicity and StreamYard has acheived that balance. I am recommending StreamYard to my non-techie web clients that want to present to an audience.
You can livestream games but, StreamYard is not made for gaming which means when you screen share, it is not optimised for gaming. You can have a face cam if you want but if you only want audio then solo layout the screen share. Again, it’s not made for gaming but it is possible.

Can I use stream yard to chat on my android to a client "android to android" A..The reason being I want lower thirds to show and banners B.. Can I alternate the banners whilst chatting one on one? Thank you kindly P:)

Thanks for the demonstration. I wish you also show how to over lay certain web links that need to show while live streaming. It is the one i am looking for to improve my LS. Thanks
To add web links, you can create a banner. Just know that the links cannot be clicked. This is because of what the social platforms allow access to. My approach is to create a banner with an easy to remember URL, and then share the link in comments, so that it becomes clickable on the platform. Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

Pro member here. Using streamyard has taken my livestreams to the next level without all the complications of OBS. Great product.

You can record in 1080p. Yes, you can upload your recording and load it as a premier if you wish.
