Richmond leaders ‘100% confident’ with plan to fund Diamond District project, some community members

There are no “strikes,” just potential appeals when it comes to the state of Richmond’s new baseball stadium.
Local activist Paul Goldman has until Monday, July 1 to file an appeal after a judge threw out his lawsuit against Richmond City leaders a few weeks back. He suggests the City isn’t being fiscally responsible with its plan to redevelop the area around the Richmond Flying Squirrels’ ballpark.
