Spanaway is an unincorporated area near Tacoma, and is often identified together with the more urban, less wealthy Parkland.

I love the fact that I saw some Outrigger Canoes racing on that lake the day that you were driving around Spanaway!! Growing up, that was what I've done from 96'-2005 & here and there when I was able to, I'd participate and help out with a club. I hope that when you stopped by at the lake, you had a look at was going on. Such a awesome video!! Glad that I saw those Hawaiian Outrigger Canoes racing that afternoon!! A Hui Hou!!
