I love so many things about this video. The riding is awesome, tech, original and difficult and the edit is so damn good! The movie black bars and squashed fish eye, the choice of cuts and strange/original/interesting/speed ramp cuts between and during clips is so fresh and so well done. Excellent across the board. There is a 'standard' way of cutting and filming edits these days and this breaks so many 'rules' in such a creative and visually interesting way. Excellent.
Agreed, I get pretty irritated by how formulaic a lot of videos are, right down to the slow motion garbled cheering at the end. Not even halfway through the video yet, but so far the top trick for me is the 360 TO MANUAL... to 180.
