Paul is the coolest. I got to meet and talk with him backstage when he played here in San Antonio. I asked him if this song was on the set-list for the show and he said no...I was kinda bummed; but then...halfway into the show after finishing a song, he said "So I got a buddy out there that wants to hear "Goodbye"...any of you wanna hear it?"....I nearly flipped my shit. He ended up playing this song just for me. I'm forever a fan.
Caleb Goforth Oh wow. Do you think it could work again? I will see them in about 2 months for the first time. This song got me into them. I'd like to hear it live so badly.
I had a chance to see them at The Metro, in Chicago, last year and I have to say... I've seen The Eagles, Coldplay, Muse, Journey in concert and MuteMath was by far the most memorable, intimate experience I'd ever had. These guys really got into their set and enjoyed the crowd. The drummer had completely destroyed his drums by the end. Epic.
I just saw them in concert, here in Chicago, just last week and once again the drummer destroyed his drums! MuteMath has BY FAR been one of the BEST EVER bands to see live! MM you rock, dudes.
It surprises me that this many people in Japan have even heard of Mutemath. I always thought of them as the "best band you've never heard of." I guess that's not the case!
holy cow I "just" discovered this band by accident so far ll their songs are awesome!!!! they are very original yet familiar and comfortable..hard to explain but all these guys are amazing musicians
