I like Stefan as a character far more than i have liked Damon but personally i have never really liked either of them with Elena, always found the whole identical to their first love kind of creepy.

Saying my opionion is bullshit, now THAT is bullshit. I said what I thought and no, Stefan is not everyones dream because he is BORING, too EASY to deal with. Damon is exciting, interesting.
This is my opinion, and you have no other choice but respecting it.
Elena and Stefan have no chemistry at all, they're relationship was like the definition of boring. Look at Delena. I mean, you can see how they really try to stay away from each other. Damon and Elena is meant to be, perfect couple. And Stefan dosen't even love her the way she is. Stefan and Katherine, Damon and Elena, Rebekkah and Matt - And I'll be happy.
