Perhaps these academics could run a podcast on police officer and department shortages due to cost cutting from our local and central government's, naming names of those in politics responsible for these cuts and finding out if those concerned had or have received any back door payments.
Definitely a matter where the need justifies the ends. Police who track them online are so greatly outnumbered by predators and victims it boggles the imagination. Even if the entire police force focused on this, it would barely scratch the surface. They need all the help from civilians they can get.
It's a shame that this conversation can't be had without everyone having to keep stressing that they're not defending predators. It's like the topic is almost impossible to discuss.
When the system fails to address these sex pests that live in our society. Then it takes genuine, honest citizens to deal with the menace. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" Edmund Burke
Yes, especially with shoplifters, to keep our eyes open, inform security, maybe even to intervene if we can do so safely. We all have to pay the higher cost of goods. Even worse in 2022, as stores are shutting down in places where shoplifting has become epidemic. In San Francisco, Seattle for example.
@@gardengeek3041 You can`t do it like that. A shop is private property, you need to know the laws first, you need to know that in order to stop a shiplifter you need to see selection consealment and you must keep eye contact with them at all times, you have to see non payment and exit, it`s called SCONE you cannot detain anyone unless you have the store managers consent. If you don`t follow any of that you`ll be in serious trouble, you could face a Fine Imprisonment or both
Here is an example of a trigger that can and has sent me spiraling down into a somewhat delusional and psychosis state of mind, which ultimately results in my life burning down around me almost instantly now. My perpetrators name is Stephen/Stephan, so could you imagine how I might feel when the only other comment here is said to be written by a Stephen? I honestly struggle every time this sort of thing happens (which is far far far too often) and I never know if it coincidental or a type of "entrapment" even. Its really messy. What does it take to have something done about crimes like that committed on me? Think about it please, I often wonder who put the laws in place in the first place, especially given we know more now about the kind of "Power" these perpetrators have. Easy solution, modify the laws a little, have exceptions to the rule as far as the type of case in court goes. We are completely out played by these monsters and they are not only physically and sexually abusing us, they have manipulated the whole system and our heads.
Its been shown repeatedly that there aren't nearly enough police to do the job of tracking these predators online.

I want to say Thank you for bringing this topic to the table.
Zir?... Bleaze.
Sir, what pleases you about this topic??? Tell me more
Oh good,,... an audio tape on a video channel - brilliant.
Its a little like looking in stores for shoplifters. Should we not do it as civilians?

If you're a pedophile predator you go to prison if not something much worse!!!!!!!!
the interviewer starts that stammering, stuttering, over exited language that is annoying to listen to, calm down and speak clearly,.
Yes indeed he does, perhaps he's nervous about addressing something he feels is a necessity in modern day society
