- Soul City is one of the most exciting function bands in the South East. A seven piece soul/funk band of hugely talented pro musicians who, between them, have played and recorded with an impressive list of artist (Jules Holland, Amy Winehouse, Will Young, Roy Ayers, Alexander O' neal, Alice Russell, De La Soul, Nitin Sawney, Viola Wills, Turin Brakes, The Freemasons and Quantic Soul Orchestra to mention a few! Young, energetic and, not to mention, good looking, they are regularly booked to play at weddings, parties, functions and clubs all over the uk. The front line are a dynamic and charismatic combination of the awesome voice of Cristabell Cossins on lead vocals, band leader and Rob Heasman (Dragonfly!) on trumpet (whose nickname comes from his ability to effortlessly soar over the notes) and the musically gifted Ben Sarfas on Saxophone. The back line are funkier then grandma's bloomers, with the world class drummer Tristan Banks keeping time on drums. This band will keep you and your guest spellbound and dancing all night, and 'one more' will never be enough!
