I see I am commenting 5 months after this video was published, but I am also 8 months locked. I just spoke with my therapist about experiencing the exact same feelings you described as imposter syndrome. These are real feelings and they cause me to second guess my abilities and to shrink myself. I am continually working on overcoming these emotions and I pray you are able to do the same.

Sending positive vibes your way. I know it’s hard. My daughter is going through the same thing. Enrolled in grad school in Virginia, but attending classes from home, online. Things are going to get better.
    Your hair is looking great.

Be Gentle with yourself and Allow your Life to Evolve Naturally. If School feels Depressing, Take a Break and Do Something that Truly makes your Spirit Sing.. Fuck What Society Thinks. If you feel uncomfortable in Their space, Create your Own Space! Now is the perfect time. A fun getaway and some sun should help. Keep YA HEAD UP ! Don't ever feel Stupid or feel like you Don't belong, you BUST YOUR ASS TO GET THERE, Now SIT ON YOUR THRONE .

Your locs looks so good! I have 71 and am only a few mos behind (started July). I so feel you on “just starting to look cute.” I know what you mean. I also used to have big natural curls and love that they are firming up now and looking more like mature locs. It is an amazing feeling 😁.

Definitely can relate to what you’re going through in grad school. This semester has been ROUGH-I’ve been constantly second guessing myself and why I’m there. But you got this. Your locs are gorgeous!

I'll be 10 months in 2 weeks, I had 64 locs and combined them at 7 months and now I have 48.. tell me why... OH, WHIE... are some of my locs not even budding yet? Like, 👁👄👁 I tell you, texture (location) really does matter with the speed of maturity; this is outrageous. I have everything from 3c to 4b in my head and my twist patterns (of course, including the ones I combined) are still evident while others at 3 months, with 4a with hair, has a twist pattern that has completely diminished. Think I'm not jealous? Tuh. 😂 you'd be wrong. I love my locs but daaaaaaman, the ingredient of patience wasn't included to make Starja.

Lol texture really does make a difference in how long it takes them to mature! Hang in there 😁
