Mehmet Scholl said once "70% of his games were very good and the other 30% were world class" Pep guardiola said "He is the most intelligent player I have ever seen" Philipp lahm never got a red card in his whole career. He played in 3 world cups. Reached 2 times the semi finals and lead the German national team to the world cup win in 2014. He played 3 different positions in these 3 world cups. He was not a big and strong defender and in his late years he got slow. But he was tactically and technically such a great player that he was a beast anyways and nearly nobody could pass him. Best back and side tacklings I have ever seen.

That is crazy. Many forwards have atleast 1 red card and fullbacks make more tackles than center backs. They take a lot more risk and a lot more tactical fouls because they are usually outside the box.
