This is one of the many reasons Shelley Long leaving was the best thing for the show. The show got much better once it became an actual ensemble show as opposed to "The Sam and Diane Show". The rest of the extraordinary actors finally got utilized in seasons 6-11. This is truly one of the show's most memorable and hilarious scenes.
One of the things I loved was how Fraiser who was the Shrink was supposed to be all calm and sane....but give him enough time he was the one who would get so upset he was about to pull his hair out LOL
My dad and I watch this show on Netflix and we came upon this episode and COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING AT NORM AND CLIFF!!!!!! They are my fav characters!!!!! xDDDDDDDDD
I call my baby Lollipop! Tell you why! It's 'cause she's sweeter than an apple pie! As a critic once wrote of Rock Lobster, there's no hidden meaning beneath the surface, but there's more on the surface than one might expect.
Has anyone else noticed that in the second singing when Frasier demands the machine should be shut off that Paul hits the button in the exact spot where the "pop" is in the song?

Frasier: My wife is throwing a lovely shower here. The least you can do is show a little respect. Cliff (Helium voice): Aw, Fras, we're just giving a gift of music here.
Where's the scene where Lilith is singing and Frasier takes the mike from her to start singing? It may have been visa verse, though. The song was "Your not sick, you're just in love.
+JBs POP That clip used to be on here, but I haven't seen it recently. It may have been taken off due to copyright. Frasier was singing "Your Just In Love (I Wonder Why)" ("I hear singing, but there's no one there...."). Norm and Cliff see Lilith and beg her to get him to stop singing on the karaoke machine ("It's been 3 days!". She complies, and continues to sing the song herself. Frasier, feeling sour after having the mike yanked out of his hands, remarks "Look who thinks she's Edie Gorme!" LOL! I love that scene!
+Charles R. Bradley II Thanks so much for your reply. I watched the entire "The Days of Wine and Neuroses" episode on Amazon Prime and that segment wasn't there. I was beginning to think I was nuts. I haven't seen that scene for several years. I love it too and would love to see it again.
How's that songbook organized? Frasier's not looking them up by title because All of Me would be on an early page whereas You Made Me Love You must be toward the end. Are those tracks by alphabetically proximal artists? :-P
haha, i met him! well i work weddings and i served him cause he was at one on saturday. :) he actually wasnt that nice :/ he didntt say thank you to anything and like ignored everyone! ://// oh well. thats what fame does to you i guess..
Organized crime with an insurance policy hey what came before that? what's that app for that?. . I guess you're stuck in the forest looking at the trees which is why that will never get passed.

Agreed relationship crap 🙄
Everyone needs a friendship like Norm and Cliff's haha. I love this scene 😂
You’ve got that right.
Those two on wings was great
Love this scene. We need a good friends like Cliff and Norm here. Oh, Frasier. So sad about Kirstie Alley’s passing recently. RIP Kirstie Alley.
Every time I hear this song, I think of this! 😆😂🤣
"It's about a girl..."
"And...lollipop"
I love Cliff and Norm!
The song clearly says “I call my baby lollipop, tell you why, it’s cause her kiss is sweeter than a cherry pie”
Frasier's pop is just brilliant
Except he was wrong about how to do it. I watched Andy Williams do it with The Chordettes, and he definitely stuck his finger in his mouth.
Cheers and Frasier, 2 of the best sitcoms ever
King of the hill is special to but different genre
Classic scene it just popped up in my head 😂😂😂
One of the things I loved was how Fraiser who was the Shrink was supposed to be all calm and sane....but give him enough time he was the one who would get so upset he was about to pull his hair out LOL
…oh, so that’s how he went bald!
Who are you kidding? Frasier had more issues and complexes than all of his patients put together.
This scene is a killer! Frasier's exasperation is epic! He needs a shrink for himself. Norm and Cliff- two buddies to always have around.
One of the best scenes in Tv history
My dad and I watch this show on Netflix and we came upon this episode and COULDN'T STOP LAUGHING AT NORM AND CLIFF!!!!!!
They are my fav characters!!!!! xDDDDDDDDD
Sam's laughter in the background in genuine for his role. There's nothing more amusing to a bartender than the shenanigans of the patrons
this show never gets old! love norm
Cliff's Helium Voice should be in the next Pixar movie
Luke Lauchle
Or Patrick Warburton...
Luke Lauchle he was in all of the toy storys
@@tunzjockey His helium voice?
Best...Comedy...Ever!!!
I miss Cheers!!! It was a product of its time!
The pinnacle of American culture.
Clifford Young , You do understand that it was a comedy show.
Cliff and Norm friendship goals.
1:16 😂😂😂
It's about this girl and.....lollipops. LOL
Lilith is trying so hard not to laugh XD
Hands down the best scene of the show
Norm, Cliff, Frazier...iconic.
This show was gold!
I call my baby Lollipop! Tell you why!
It's 'cause she's sweeter than an apple pie!
As a critic once wrote of Rock Lobster, there's no hidden meaning beneath the surface, but there's more on the surface than one might expect.
This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen!
Norm and Cliff, the new dynamic duo
The first ever video I saw on RUclips. I was 2 when this first was uploaded and my Dad showed it to me.
“Settle down, Normie! Save those pipes for karaoke!”
Frasier mentions the song Someone to Watch Over Me which was the name of a Frasier episode
Ol' Frasier! The usual killjoy! But, you gotta love him! X-D
I'm so glad I started watching Cheers again on WGN...So damn funny.
This was my favourite episode from all cheers 😂😂
Frasier is literally like my best friend's Pa, when he has to deal with our antics.
Has anyone else noticed that in the second singing when Frasier demands the machine should be shut off that Paul hits the button in the exact spot where the "pop" is in the song?
Kyle Smith yeah I thought someone (possibly Lilith) was going to "badum bum bum".
@@sydbarrett5 missed opportunity there
timeless :) Nooorm and Cliff rulez as usual
Classic Cheers , love It..

Did I imagine it, or in this episode does cliff, in his helium voice, say “killjoy!”
Cliff does say that after Fraiser pops Norm’s balloon.
Step 1) Buy giant lollipop
Step 2) Play this clip
Step 3) Enjoy!
Go Norm and Cliff!
I'd love to do a karaoke with Norm and cliff
Frasier: My wife is throwing a lovely shower here. The least you can do is show a little respect.
Cliff (Helium voice): Aw, Fras, we're just giving a gift of music here.
this is too funny. norm and cliff were a great combo in "Cheers"
Note that all songs Frasier is naming has the word "me" in it and he emphasize that word every time. Subtle thing, but says a lot
i love it when they inhale helium
"It's about this girl...and...uh...lollipops..." lol
Norm and Cliff still > all.
1:00 reminds me of something my brothers would do while singing karaoke🤣
It's also how Frasier hijacks the thing and turns into this nightclub host.
These 2 made the show
Norm and Cliff are the original Hitchcock and Scully
OMG!!! There's something Cliff doesn't know.
Norm and Cliff: Lollip-
Frasier: *Vietnam flashbacks*
😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
This is like my buddy and me after a few ones 😉
Cliff and Norm rule. Frasier is just al me...me...me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Frazier reminds me of Stevie Griffen here
2020 still fukin funny
At least Norm in Cliff can sing better than Justin Bieber
Says the tone-deaf guy.
@@sorellman
Lol Beaver can't handle his own singing if he tried
Norm, Cliff, and Frasier all had better musical talent than BABY BABY BABY
A chunk of cement can sing better than Bieber.
so can a corpse
I've got to go with Frasier on the artistic merits of "Lollipop"
Completely ridiculous and totally hilarious!
Me and my friend had our own Norm and Cliff Club...just sitting around drinking and doing nothing
This is so funny

With dopey moments like these, it's no wonder Fraiser's wife left him to go live with some other guy in a bubble-type structure......
Noone would have thought that back then about Frasier's reaction.
next time theres a karaoke i'm definately doing this
Making everyone laugh don't see that anymore 😢
Badoom Doom Doom
this were just simple in the old times
This show is a classic back before tv took itself too seriously and people still had a sense of humor about things
Cute
The Chordettes!
On the next verse, rap your favorite college team or pro team such as, Notre Dame, Crimson tide, usc... The audience will think you are brilliant
THANKS for SHARING!!! (RUBYBABE)
IKR who doesn't want to hang out with cliff and norm?
@Ellidyr
Interesting idea. But I'm afraid that even now, almost 20 years later, it would have to be called "Cheers" and be set in that very bar.
How's that songbook organized? Frasier's not looking them up by title because All of Me would be on an early page whereas You Made Me Love You must be toward the end.

Pop, da dum dum dum
0 dislike for lollipop.
What is Frasier's problem?
If you don't know that Frasier is supposed to be the more mature, uptight intellectual than you obviously never watched this show before lol.
@@kendallrivers1119 I have seen this show lots of times. And "Frasier", too". And I'm well aware that he's an intellectual person.

Frazh was hilariously slow to learn that he wasn’t going to get what he wanted at the neighborhood bar.
