the creature would kill on decibels from 30(whisper, glass breaking) to 140(Gunshots) while the door is under 20(ticking of a watch). it wouldn't be able to hear under 20 unless its continuous enough for it to find it, but places like the ocean or something that forever moves and make noises, that where you be safe to rest, or whisper like in the movie.

If you look at the sound tracking device, the blue lights represent the sounds from the surrounding area while the green is the sound you make...so as long as your sound does not exceed the background noise, you should be ok... theoretically...
so judging by how that sound detector works, the meter on the right shows how much sound she makes when she moves. if it gets too high, the alien instantly kills you. while the meter on the left helps detects if something is within her vicinity. like the alien, or other survivors.
Doesn’t say anything about VR, but it’s so far only confirmed for Xbox and PS5 so it could, possibly be a PSVR game but usually if it is they advertise the games saying VR in the first place
You don't get the concept of a "reveal" trailer, do you? It's meant to give you an idea of what the *game* is gonna be like rather than what the *gameplay* is gonna be like. It gives you an idea of the tone and genre of the game (in this case, survival horror).
The Monsters/Aliens In The First And Second Movie Were Kinda Like Semi-Noob, Semi-Regular, Third Movie Is A Bit More Aggressive And Stronger, But In This, The Aliens Are Aggressive Hostile Sweaty Tryhards, Straight Up.
And to think the dude from the office and his awesome wife made this franchise a success and already have a movie in theathers now that's doing well. They're the IT couple now

Because the squeaky door lock isn't that loud. You only hear it if you are within proximity, but the glass is in an open area with echoes
