There's nothing more satisfying than just going with the flow and let the pieces guide you towards a one of a kind creation. Excellent work as ever sir, I'd say embrace the toy parts, they are often very detailed with unique shapes.
You got me into kitbash years ago. Unfortunately i havent done anything in...gee, two years now? But after watching this I think its time to dust off the ol scrap box and make something new this weekend! Thanks for the inspiration!!
I use modeling clay for the holes and crevices and then finish with a little water to make it smooth. It works very well. Or you can also use Puddy of course. The space boat looks cool.👍We old Guys huh !...😅🙂
I've watched your channel for a good few years now and it's always awesome watching you make stuff Anthony. Each and every time your content inspires my own creativity. Great video bud.
What about painting clear plastic windows with a matt black on the inside, and then masking the outside at the start of painting process and then demasking at the start of weathering? Or with the same color as your green screen maybe with some waterslide transfers with with some reference marks.
It's obviously a Smuggler's "Runabout" (size of cockpit), and the Wings are where the thionite bags are hidden! Along with Melange. (Get the references?) May the Empire never catch you, and may the Force be with you!
Anthony, I've got a really interesting circular greeblie made out of machined aluminum from a hard drive. Is there an address I can send it to? I think you'll love it.
Don't understand why you don't like using toy bits. Some the best texture/interest pieces i've found for my builds have come from borked toys. Awesome little ship
There's no shame in using the Star Wars pieces. Even the Nostromo from Alien (1979) had pieces from Star Wars kits because the model builders for the shooting miniature raided various hobby shops parts bins and there were tons of Star Wars kit parts that was in them (namely R2 model kits and TIE Fighter parts).
Super glues weaker than plastic goue in models u use it when u mqy need rip aprt back off but it also more ugly as leaves seams but then again if u mess up with plastic glue you leaves this acidy burn like look
Freestyle builds are the best. You never know what you'll arrive at. From you, Anthony, its all good!
I agree!
I really like this luxury yacht. Could be something that Lando Calrissian lost during a little gamble...would not be first time, as we all know;).
haha

Can't wait to see this ship 'sail' into a film.
I agree!
It always amazes me when you add the primer and it all comes together… then you can move onward or go straight to paint. Love it.
I know its crazy
Excellent build full of the colors great job the Anthony.
thanks paul
Narra com a felicidade de uma criança!
Definitely a cool kit bash build brother. It turned out fantastic for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Love it! One of my buddies used an old clothes iron that wasn't working; turned it into a yacht, looks awesome.

That was a really cool ship sir! It's really fueling my curiosity about kit bashing. Once I finally get one build I'll share the build with you.

I like the idea of a mystery box build.

Right on thx!
Always enjoyable watching your builds and seeing your thought process in action 🙂!
nice of you to say :)
Kitbashing with models that were themselves kitbashes. Kind of poetic..
Love your work man. Got some cool inspirations from your videos for my own projects.
Il also like to use cheap stuff or recycle bits and pieces.
i love to hear that
you always make me wanna craft somthing
Just remember, even the ILM modelers used a few off-the-shelf models from the earlier Star Wars movies to help kitbash for new ships. 😉
Looks great.

That works for sure , I like my nail polish :)
Very cool.
Do you ever use a heat gun or heat source to hold close to the Nail Polish Windows and flatten and smooth the paint?
Omg that was a gi joe arah Hal and a cobra jet pack. Wish people sent me that stuff. Lol
Anthony, do you have a belt sander for projects like this?
not one of those cool little ones no
Ainazing !
Thx!

How come Anthony's models don't end up covered in beard hairs? That's the real skill!.
oh they're in the paint LOL
It's a literal Space-SHIP
hahahah true
I love to give him w challenge and send a unfinished project and see what he turns it into

I would say nice design but clearly it was not designed. Results are great!

It reminds me of the swordfish 2 for cowboy beep bop
Wait why aren’t you supposed to use super glue?
dunno

And if you think of it the star wars ships are kitbashed basically anyway LOL
