I hope you enjoy this first tutorial in a series of 3 on how to get BUDGE PROOF makeup!
The tips I share in this video are beyond tried and true and I have used them throughout my entire career when I need my clients makeup to stay on through thick and thin.
You’ll find most of these tips to be super helpful if you are in or attending a wedding, working long hours, living in a humid climate, or as a professional artist that needs their makeup to last on set, all day.

I had to come back to this video and send my thanks!!! Just got home from a 14 hour wedding day and followed the steps from this video for my bridesmaid makeup. Did not need a single touch up all day!!! I’m so impressed. 70 degrees and raining all day, still looked just as good at 11 pm as it did at 10 am

I am a 45 year old extremely oily grease ball and the only basic prep I can do is a 50+ sunscreen and primer. Anything more than that and I am asking for a meltdown 🤣.

This is wonderful thank you! I’m always looking for budge proof routines! It would be cool to see budge proof using only one brand video would be great for those days where none of your makeup is working and you just need to run to the store and grab it all from one section and leave 😅
I had the MIlk primer for a long time and did not care for it... I've just recently discovered how much o a game changer it can be!!! My foundation NEVER stays on my nose, but now I apply the primer first, a very thin layer and... it does not budge! lovely! Super recommend for long wearing and oily gals like me! 🥰

Nikki, Before your channel, I was very intimidated by makeup! I only did blush and gloss. I’ve watched makeup videos for awhile, but still never had the confidence to actually put the effort in. Since subscribing to your channel, and your Step by step how to, and your live videos, I’ve gotten more comfortable with it. Hi Nikki! I'm wondering if you had any suggestions for mascaras for me. I have a list though... My upper lashes are pretty thin and my lower lashes are reeeeeally sparse. My eyes are pretty darn hooded which makes application even harder and messier. One good thing is that my lashes stay up really well. So I don't need a "curling " mascara. My eyes water non stop, so I do always use waterproof or something close to it.
I've been thinking that maybe a smallish wand might work better for me, but I want some good volume! I always associate volume with fluffy spoolies, but I'm hoping to find one that may have a smallish wand but has the pop I'm looking for. I LOVE the waterproof Buxom. It's been my fave for years but again, it's got a fairly big wand... The Tower 28 mascara at Sephora is pretty good, but it has an oddly small amount of product in the tube. I've never run through an entire tube of mascara(before it gets old and dry, lol) but I went through that in just two months or so, and it dried out quickly as well. ANYWAY! Thoughts on waterproof mascaras that give a lot of bang for their buck but have a smallish spoolie? Thanks doll ♥️

No powder under my eyes looks good by midday. All looks fine for a while but living w/o a lot of humidity just dries me out, even when I am oily
I find the milk primer breaks up the make up that’s applied on top, I have no clue how it’s working for everyone else?!?! What am I doing wrong 😭
Does the serum have vitamin C?
every single sunscreen i apply pills. i don’t know why… i’ve tried several different types and consistencies, but they always pill making my makeup look patchy and crumbly almost. it’s really frustrating
Unfortunately the Dior color correcting concealer doesn’t come in shades for fair skin. What do you recommend for fair to very fair ??? Diors “0” is very dark

I didn’t like that setting spray … didn’t make a bit of difference to me for setting foundation . I also broke out a lot from it .
FYI: Walmart Shiseido page didn't work 😑. Which is ok, it's basically a glycerin product.
