Hate the grocery store with a passion. My husband has thankfully taken on the task. Now, if I happen to have to go in one, I am completely overwhelmed. I don't even know how to function.
Can I add a #7, which is the absolute shock and dismay at the number on the register after checking out what you thought was just a small grocery haul.
I leave my groceries in the cart, the cashier will use the handheld scanner and just scan stuff in the cart, I go to my car and toss things into a bin I got from Amazon, carry the bin into the house and put away, my cats will play in the bin for a bit and back to my car it goes 😂
If there is an app required, i refuse to buy that item and will just wait until there's a regular discount. I HATE the discount culture. Also HATE self checkout and i refuse!!!
Nope! Hate it! I have had groceries delivered since 2020 and I’ll never go back! I love putting groceries away and organizing so I’ve eliminated the part I hate!
I am 100% with you. In CA we have DoorDash & I will pay the $20 tip to have my groceries delivered. I see it as a life saving maneuver since I watched a lab guy swab the cart handle thing & it’s full of gross 🦠 and I don’t want to deal with wiping it off. It’s also because I’m lazy.
I actually like grocery shopping but I don't like running into people I know.😂. What I dislike the most is the unloading the cart, loading them back in the cart, loading them again into the car and lastly unloading them out of the car when you get home and finally putting things away. It is such a process. 🥱
