Its debatable how hard sans would hit asgore because although he has killed, he hasn't killed nearly as much as sans so his karmic retribution would be nerfed. Still his speed should give him the win.

Yes, finally an Undertale video! I’ve been wanting one of these for so long! I do have some problems with this list, however: 1. Toriel should be higher on the list, probably right under Asgore. Her stats are the same as his, and considering that she was once the queen, she is a lot stronger than she looks. It’s implied that she doesn’t use her full power because she doesn’t actually want to kill you, just teach you a lesson 2. On the contrary, Alphys should be much lower. She never fights you herself, with Mettaton serving as the main boss for Hotland. She probably Ian my very strong on her own, which is why she relies on her inventions for combat 3. Finally, technically speaking, Asriel is stronger than Flowey. With the equivalent of seven human souls, Asriel is literally a god. The only reason you can fight fight him is because Frisk is too determined to die. If they were to die, they would be unable to reload their save because Asriel has more determination. I don’t mean this in a rude way, I just wanted to state my thoughts. Please do more Undertale videos in the future, I would love to see what other lists you can make!

Asriel’s hyperdeath form is by far the most powerful being in undertale, here is his power set through both the acts of power and inferences in dialogue. Acts: - destroying the barrier, something that years of advanced magical science couldn’t even scratch. - full power conjuring/creation (stars, lightning, swords, laser guns, basically anything he can imagine he can summon or create.) - omnipotence, attacking Asriel with anything deals 0 damage no matter what. Inferenced powers - timeline control, meaning even if you managed to kill him somehow he would come back and know what to avoid. He mentions this power multiple times in the fight. - reality control, omega flowey showed he could control reality at only 6 souls, manipulating his stats and turning the world into an empty void to fight frisk alone. Asriel could also do this since he has the souls. Asriel being called a god isn’t some fancy title, it really means he’s the god of undertale’s world. If he wasn’t so utterly emotional, frisk would of had no chance of survival.
Asriel is defeated via the power of Determination, with Sans and most of the other monsters being able to be defeated by determination. Therefore, the strongest monster is whoever has the most determination.
The "omnipotence" part you said is really fitting Asriel, knowing that Asriel has "The Absolute God of Hyperdeath" title, means that he isn't just some ordinary God (unless it's from religion, then God is already absolute, because God from any other fictional franchise would already be omnipotent but it's not true, since for example Kratos isn't omnipotent unless it's established) but he is Absolute God which underlines the fact that the word "absolute" means no limitations, no exceptions and bounds, which means he isn't bounded by game's narrative, storytelling or mechanics. That makes him basically able to do literally anything.

I feel like if Asgore actually wanted to fight, he would be the strongest monster. His HP and stats would overwhelm sans, and the fact that he can also allegedly dodge certainly puts things in his favor. Undyne the Undying would probably beat him though.
sans' poison would kill asgore first since asgore has killed a lot of people. Also, when someone fights sans, sans makes sure its unfair for who he is fighting
@@cds3703 The KR shouldn't be as quick to drain Asgore as it is Frisk though because Asgore only has 6 confirmed kills while Frisk has around 110 by the end of genocide route. Unless murdering even once gives the same rate of KR draining for everybody. Even then, you have to remember Asgore's max HP is *way* bigger than Frisk's, even after they do the genocide route, they don't even break 100 points, meanwhile Asgore has at least 1000. If he had a full heal item like Butterscoth Pie or the Instanoodles from Alphys's Lab, there's no way Sans would beat him.
flowey was created from: asriel getting killed and turning into dust said dust landing on a flower that flower by pure luck being one of the many golden flowers alphys did the determination experiment on (to try it on soulless entities) its a bit more complicated then alphys just trying to bring asriel back to life, which would have resulted into an amalgamate asriel instead

Personally I would've put Asgore above Sans mostly due to the fact he was holding back when you fought and was able to destroy the mercy button and if he really wanted to could probably destroy the fight button and basically end the genocide route right there
Sans did a similar thing, not letting the human have their turn. Which, is a lot worse than destroying one button. As well, sans knows about what happens in every reset, which will allow him to, if not lazy, completely catch the human off guard with different attacks the human didn't learn. He can also completely trap the game box with bones, always killing the human. Like I said tho, the only reason the human won was because sans is lazy.

If so, they can literally just use the act button to re-piece the fight button and item button. However, sans can literally just be unfair and trap the human and kill them like how he did with the mercy death. Yet, I must say, if those 2 were to have a 1v1, it would be like a mystery box. You don't know what's gonna happen. However, asgore does have a higher chance of winning. But against the human, sans would win in raw power because he can literally manipulate the game box and trap the human, constantly killing them until they give up.

While asgore can't destroy the act button like you said otherwise asgore can't attack, so asgore will eventually die due to the human's determination to put the fight and item pieces back.
The "Chara is influencing Frisk" theory is honestly is far from accurate due to the player actually having a presence in the game we are the anamoly Sans refers to and most people blame Chara because they are the only one who actually tells you what you just murdered them for no good reason (also Chara is a child so why would someone blame a slaughter of over 200 monsters on a child)
Something important is that Chara wasn't accidentally poisoned. Chara intentionally planned to be killed so Asriel would take their soul and kill all of humanity.

I think the gold medal good should go to papyrus he does not want to hurt a human in his fight if you drop your HP to 1 he will not kill you he will instead capture you and while that's evil he still has a nice heart if you attempt the battle four times he will give you the option to fight him or not and he tells undyne not to hurt frisk and while he is annoyed when sans makes puns he still cares for him and he protects you from flowey so that's why he deserves the gold medal of good Edit: I also forgot to mention during the genocide route he thinks that you can be a good person still and he believes in you even though you kill him that's really heartbreaking so I think he deserved the gold medal of good
That is true, but Sans is also always sleeping. And since sleeping in Undertale somehow heals your hp above the maximum amount, Sans probably has almost as much health as the queen of England at this point.

Yea beacuz falling into the void witch is an instakill no matter what but not dying is impossible and somehow gaster didn't die from it. This shows how strong he is, like migh be stronger than toby fox.
* I feel like Mad Dummy should be higher - she's the only character other than Sans to actually try and not let you have your turn, saying "YOU CAN'T HURT ME AND I CAN'T HURT YOU!!! YOU'LL BE STUCK FIGHTING ME. . . Forever. Forever! FOREVER!!!" * Her fight only ends because she gets interrupted by Napstablook, and even then she's still incorporeal and literally can't die, I feel like that grants more power than characters like the Canine Unit, who all die in a couple hits and are easily to spare, and the amalgamates that are literally collapsing and pretty much eternally dying and melting.
Fun Fact: Flowey is even more scary than 02 and Giygas, and his laugh in his god form is very bone chilling and disturbing and will guaranteed to give anyone nightmares (for me at least)

I'd argue Asriel/Photoshop Flowey is stronger than the player character- the player can't even leave a *scratch* on Asriel when they are in their God of Hyperdeath form, the player never even defeats them- the only way to "win" is to convince Asriel to stop fighting- meanwhile, while yes, the player can technically hurt Photoshop Flowey, such a method becomes completely useless when Flowey reloads Save 3

To be fair, Chara is the only character you can't defeat nor survive if you encounter them. So I would say they are strong. They have the immunity to being attacked of a shop keeper and the strenght of the LV 20 Player. They are basically Frisk if they had infinite immunity frames.
Characters like Toriel, Papyrus and Asgore hold back purposely while with Asgore it’s peer torture for him to kill a human child refusing to go full power (his power output is base to semi-full power). Toriel and Papyrus both not wanting to kill the human (Toriel: Base power) (Papyrus: Base to semi-full power). A knock back would be Base form Flowey since it’s form is a flower making Flowey weak physically, having to rely on manipulation and low HP kills, Base form Asriel would also be a knock back since Asriel was only 11 when he died lacking proper magic training to defend himself. I do agree with some of the placements naming one is Frisk at the top despite possibly being around 8 years old at the time

And he was regretful in the final battle, so Asgore is very much godlike, plus, imagine his prime. Undyne base is powerful, agreed, but Undyne the Undying? Shes godlike. Personally I would've put Asgore above Sans mostly due to the fact he was holding back when you fought and was able to destroy the mercy button and if he really wanted to could probably destroy the fight button and basically end the genocide route right there
Sans did a similar thing, not letting the human have their turn. Which, is a lot worse than destroying one button. As well, sans knows about what happens in every reset, which will allow him to, if not lazy, completely catch the human off guard with different attacks the human didn't learn. He can also completely trap the game box with bones, always killing the human. Like I said tho, the only reason the human won was because sans is lazy.

If so, they can literally just use the act button to re-piece the fight button and item button. As well, asgore has to try to manually kill the human, which won't do as sooner or later, the human will learn the attacks and end up killing asgore. However, sans can literally just be unfair and trap the human and kill them like how he did with the mercy death. Yet, I must say, if those 2 were to have a 1v1, it would be like a mystery box. You don't know what's gonna happen. However, asgore does have a higher chance of winning. But against the human, sans would win in raw power because he can literally manipulate the game box and trap the human, constantly killing them until they give up.
@@harrymorris8219 Because if he destroyed the act button once his turn ends he wouldn't be able to attack the human and once he literally had no will to live when fought him he was holding back during his fight and he still does more damage than Sans only reason Sans does more than 1 damage is because of poison and his attack speed
@@spectralknightgaming8364 yes he does only 1 dmg but like you said he hits multiple times in one attack. So in one attack he could end up doing hundreds or even thousands of dmg. The reason I said asgore would win though in a 1v1 is because of how tanky asgore is and how fast asgore could attack with his trident. Sans would just keep killing the human until they give up using some sort of trapping attack. While asgore can't destroy the act button like you said otherwise asgore can't attack, so asgore will eventually die due to the human's determination to put the fight and item pieces back.
Although I have my disagreements with the list I'm glad this channel is finally tackling Undertale. Hope to see more!

The "Chara is influencing Frisk" theory is honestly is far from accurate due to the player actually having a presence in the game we are the anamoly Sans refers to and most people blame Chara because they are the only one who actually tells you what you just murdered them for no good reason (also Chara is a child so why would someone blame a slaughter of over 200 monsters on a child)
When this guy says player, he means Frisk. It's literally demonstrated that Chara was having an influence on Frisk on the genocide route though

I think the gold medal good should go to papyrus he does not want to hurt a human in his fight if you drop your HP to 1 he will not kill you he will instead capture you and while that's evil he still has a nice heart if you attempt the battle four times he will give you the option to fight him or not and he tells undyne not to hurt frisk and while he is annoyed when sans makes puns he still cares for him and he protects you from flowey so that's why he deserves the gold medal of good
Edit: I also forgot to mention during the genocide route he thinks that you can be a good person still and he believes in you even though you kill him that's really heartbreaking so I think he deserved the gold medal of good

That is true, but Sans is also always sleeping. And since sleeping in Undertale somehow heals your hp above the maximum amount, Sans probably has almost as much health as the queen of England at this point.

@@Nebby9176 at that point in genocide, you do so much damage to kill ANYTHING in ONE hit. It takes over 9 MILLION damage to kill Sans, and it still takes like half a minute for him to actually die afterwards. I’m pretty confident that he has a stupidly high amount of HP

Gaster, no doubt. Since falling into the void, he has gained a lot of power. Although unable to be fought, his might is shown in the game code.

* Her fight only ends because she gets interrupted by Napstablook, and even then she's still incorporeal and literally can't die, I feel like that grants more power than characters like the Canine Unit, who all die in a couple hits and are easily to spare, and the amalgamates that are literally collapsing and pretty much eternally dying and melting.

I'd argue Asriel/Photoshop Flowey is stronger than the player character- the player can't even leave a *scratch* on Asriel when they are in their God of Hyperdeath form, the player never even defeats them- the only way to "win" is to convince Asriel to stop fighting- meanwhile, while yes, the player can technically hurt Photoshop Flowey, such a method becomes completely useless when Flowey reloads Save 3
Love how 1upbinge is aware that sans is not the strongest monster (in fact he is weaker than Monster Kid in term of stats)

To be fair, Chara is the only character you can't defeat nor survive if you encounter them. So I would say they are strong.
They have the immunity to being attacked of a shop keeper and the strenght of the LV 20 Player.
They are basically Frisk if they had infinite immunity frames.
Stat wise, sans is the weakest monster in the underground.
Characters like Toriel, Papyrus and Asgore hold back purposely while with Asgore it’s peer torture for him to kill a human child refusing to go full power (his power output is base to semi-full power). Toriel and Papyrus both not wanting to kill the human (Toriel: Base power) (Papyrus: Base to semi-full power). A knock back would be Base form Flowey since it’s form is a flower making Flowey weak physically, having to rely on manipulation and low HP kills, Base form Asriel would also be a knock back since Asriel was only 11 when he died lacking proper magic training to defend himself. I do agree with some of the placements naming one is Frisk at the top despite possibly being around 8 years old at the time

Papyrus is definitely as strong as sans. He doesn’t want to kill you or harm you, and in the pacifist route, flowey put 4 vines on papyrus when the others got 1 and or 2.
Asgore in godlike. Undyne said she couldn’t land A BLOW on him. And he tanks many hits from frisk who is at this point extremely strong. And he was regretful in the final battle, so Asgore is very much godlike, plus, imagine his prime.
Undyne base is powerful, agreed, but Undyne the Undying? Shes godlike. She tanks many blows from genocide frisk, and has a hell of a lot of determination.
Toriel in powerful. She was the Queen once and was holding back.

ugh, while some are correct in their listing the ones more to the top and a few towards the bottom such as toriel shoudl''ve been higher or lower depending several factor's...Both Toriel and Papyrus both held back on their true power mostly due to their unwillingness to not kill Frisk, Papyrus is mostly either stronger or as strong as sans due to stats and having similar powers but only uses, bones and blue magic, since the blaster is a weapon that goes through human souls like a hot butter knife would do butter, same with Toriel she is as strong or slightly weaker than asgore but doesn't stop her from being nearly as powerful as the king, also Toriel is and still is a Boss monster an elite monster subtype that is rarer then diamonds but stronger then regular monsters, only reason she seems to be weaker then some of the other monsters is due to her not really using their full power...
