    I just bought one, and as an American, I can say I am late to the party. This is the best toilet seat. I wish I bought it 10yrs ago. If you’re reading this go out and buy one right now. Your life will change. lol

    I just installed this exact seat to my toilet and I think it works great. I was concerned about the cold water only but actually I think you can get by without the hot water. I had no hot water line or electrical plug handy so that made it difficult to install a seat with all the bells and whistles. Wish I would have gotten one sooner.

      Unless the toilet is heavily used water will sit in the pipe, feeding the toilet for hours and will be warmer than your cold water

      But don't you need to dry after the water spray? And is it clean enough? Perhaps for pee but not for poo...are you confident that you are all clean? And if it can dry up, your pants will be all wet. It doesn't seem practical for me at all to replace the tissue paper

    Non electric? Does this mean it shoots cold water up the bunghole?

    • @HipIOReviews
      @HipIOReviews  Год назад +4

      That is correct 😄. They have another non electric version S102 that you can hook up another line to temperature adjust.

    Hi. Newby here. Great video. I bought the Brondell CL99 and tried the easy install. However, when I slid the seat onto the mounting plate, it didn't connect properly and now the mounting plate is attached to the seat but not to the mounting bolts under the bowl. Can I reverse the process to start again? i.e. - how do I get the mounting plate off the seat?

    • @HipIOReviews
      @HipIOReviews  Год назад +6

      I believe the S102 will allow you to do that.. honestly the cold water isn't as bad as you think it's going to be 😂

      I just installed one and cold water is not an issue. I also thought it would be but, it doesn't feel cold.

      Unless your toilet is heavily used water will sit in the pipes, feeding the toilet for hours warming up to room temperature. It will be cool, but it won’t be freezing cold no need for heating.

      I think you just push a button near the back on one of the sides of the toilet seat and then pull/push the seat to where you want it. I did it when setting mine up a few weeks ago, and I remember I had to do that. Although I bought the S102 dual temp. model, but I think it is very similar to this S101 model. Or watch the Brondell installation you tube video, that's what I did. They show you exactly how to do it. Great product in my opinion for it's price, simplicity of installation (I'm not much of a handyman and it was easy), and ease of use. Stay fresh my friends! Cheers

    I am wondering, why don't someone mention that these back-to-front jet bidets splash (or not?) water mingled with poop towards the urethra? It is time for every body to know that there are FRONT-TO-BACK sanitary bidets and of very low cost.

    • @arod88

      Such a bad feature I’m amazed it got through quality checks. How would you think splashing nasty poop water is ok? They should have had a separate button or twist switch even further for the self cleaning mechanism
