However, for the Xbox Series X, the mic is not recognized; it has a little dash across the mic icon. I tried updating the headset through the HUB, but nothing worked. Any advice will be appreciated. I found the problem! The USB cable I was using was not good enough. I grabbed the USB from the controller and connected the Xbox to the base, and it worked. Not all USB cables have the same capacity, so I was most likely using a weak cable. Change the cable; that's all you need.

You need 2 cables. One each to the PS input on the base station and the HDMI output on the base station. Make sure they are both HDMI 2.1 cables. Then you should have no issue getting picture as long as you press the play-sync button on the headset until the “PS” is lit up on the base station.

Hello! Are you trying to connect your headset to your PC or console? For PC, you won't have to plug the headset into your monitor at all, it will work with just the USB connection. For console, if you don't have a regular HDMI port on your monitor you will likely have to get an adapter or an HDMI to Micro HDMI/Mini DisplayPort cable.

Happened to be turn down your bit rate. 10 was making it not show up. I used my series s HDMI which I found out could not push the bandwidth.
You need 2 cables. One each to the PS input on the base station and the HDMI output on the base station. Make sure they are both HDMI 2.1 cables. Then you should have no issue getting picture as long as you press the play-sync button on the headset until the “PS” is lit up on the base station.

Hello! This shouldn't be a problem as long as you're using a HDMI 2.1 cable that is Ultra High Speed certified!
