Do you have to prune this plant? I'm just confused , I've tried looking online for video of how mine looks and I guess mines looks like it has all its leafs still from when I bought it. I've never cut it or pruned it before . I just realized this the other day that I cant find one online that looks like mine and that everyone prunes there's. But I quite like mine how it is more bushy looking and leafs do not grow upwards on mine. I guess mine maybe considered wilted, but its still growing and looks fine to me . Help , what should I do?

Dracaena Marginata plants tend to grow upto more than 7ft.. you can prune them whenever you want to.. when you prune them they usually grow 1 or more heads that would eventually grow long again.. if yours looks fine and you like it that way, then there is no need to prune them..
      Hope my answer helps..
      Keep safe 😊

I'm having the exact same issues. I CMT seem to find anything online that looks like mine. Mine seems to be way more bushier , and I guess "wilts" downward aswell. But to me this does t look like a bad thing at all. Just looks like a full bush . Also mine seems darker than anything else I see online. The inside is a dark green with that burgendy-ish colour on the outside and more underneath. I just pickedine up today marked down to $20, so I said well I ll grab it and look it up... But I cnt seem to find anything that looks the same. It also seems to be two trees in one. It's at least 2, 2-half feet..... And I DO NOT UNDERSTANT what and how exactly this pruning works . I want mine to grow taller like a tree.

Hi. Usually these kind of plants/trees take time to grow taller. You can send me pictures at zetnalttv@gmail.com so we could address your plant issues better. Thanks 😊
