Not sure if it's just me, but it feels a lil unsatisfying to me when I know Spanish already, and the arts don't sound creative anymore by virtue of being a different language; I don't feel that cheesy anime move name anymore. P.S. This game likes to drill in European dialect for all its translations, so I think it's a miss that Minoth doesn't use a Castellano accent to match.
Well, i'm Spanish and while the Spanish words choice could be much better, they are not totally random. Castigo doesn't mean to be in prison. It actually translate as punishment. Of course being in prison sure is a castigo. Then we have limpio, that means clean. That ability is related to killing bosses, so the way I understand it, it means to kill a boss flawlessly, or "limpiamente" in Spanish. Funny to see they didn't change his cheap Spanish in our version.
Seeing as its a Japanese game i just guessed they were randomly taking stuff from another language because for them it looked cool and sorta make sense in a terribly translated way, like people putting random chinese characters everywhere
9:05, All the damage ratios for tier 1s, 2s, and 3s are identical across all blades/drivers. It works out to tier 4s being 1150 ratio on healers (Haze), 1210 on tanks, and 1270 on attackers, while a lvl 3 special with all 3 attacking is 1392 ratio across the board. I'll verify the data with testing later but that's what the data tables show.
Playing Torna before XC2 Base... was an experience. . . . . . I actually pretty much felt the exact same emotions as Rex on Azurda's fake death scene. Even down to the point of what the fuck.
I can only imagine that the dread seeing Jin in the start of base 2 was incredible when you already know his backstory, but you’d also miss the reveals from lategame base 2 that inform the DLC.
2:52 I do have to wonder how the Aegis Sword (and weapons in general) got *weaker* in 500 years - that 2000+ Auto-Attack damage is insane. And how the hell did Mythra's Specials change? What, upon being awoken again she decided "I wanna try something different this time around" or something?
I think it's because Mythra shares her sword with Rex (Enel said in his Xenoblade 2 Damage Guide that you would add the Blade's Auto-Attack stat to the Driver's Strength or Ether stat, depending on the move used, and that becomes the number on which all damage done by Rex and Mythra is based, so Mythra should actually end up being stronger or at least as strong in the base game), so maybe she can't use her Arts to charge up her Specials and instead her Arts become Specials that are charged up by Rex, since she doesn't auto-attack herself.
Well, 3 new moves (at least) had to be created for all 3 of the blades that are also in the main game, (since they didn't have arts in the main game, only specials) but the reason as to why (using Mythra as an example) Ray of Punishment, Lightning Buster, and Photon Edge aren't still her specials, with Twilight Striker, Chroma Dust, and Terminal Flash becoming her arts, is kinda beyond me.
I noticed you only gave Addam a common rarity Ice Headband. Have you never found a rare or legendary variant? I have two rare variants, but I don't know where from, and I have no idea if a legendary one exists in Torna. Edit: I have found a Legendary variant! It can be dropped both rare and legendary from Legarre Marrin, found floating above Turqos Plateau in Dannagh Desert. They are unfortunately a bit frustrating to try to grind though, the way they fly about just out of reach.
Just came back from finishing all the Art Upgrades and i see a new Video ^^ Thanks for reminding me that Talent Arts exist since i almost always forget about them...... Gotta say though Hurricane Anise is super broken and honestly needs some fixes. Its just not okay for it to essentially bug under the stage and still be able to attack you... once it even stopped my chain attack.
How did you complete Mythra's affinity chart? You need 88 people in your community, but I got stuck at 86 and I have no idea how to find the remaining two. Do you have to play NG+ for that? Edit: Never mind, found the remaining two.
Zeneros One of them is the zealous warrior Elba, who you can find at the hoary weald camp and the other one is monster granny Martha in Hyber village (you have to have defeated all unique monsters in order to get her, golden beasts not included).
@@dragongamer4753 Best way is to just not use anyone else, just have Elma on your team. Elma can single handedly take down any enemy with a little bit of set up and Overdrive.
So, Mythra's Art Recharge also affects Specials now, but is not 100%? How does that work, if you do a lv3 special, does it charge back up to something like halfway through lv2 or something? And if a multihit move is used and multiple hits are crits, does it do a complete recharge?
It always affected specials, but it only works once. In the bas egame, you started at level 1.5 if you got a critical hit on one of the hits and an "excellent." In this game, you have 60%, which will put you at special level 1.1 if you get a critical hit and an excellent, since her level 1 hits many times, it's very easy to get this recharge and spam it.
Either Enel didn't think of using MMM, or it isn't optimal, because your crit rate is usually high enough anyways. Not to mention, Mythra's specials (some of them, at least) likely have boosted crit rates, such as her lvl 3, which only serves to make additional crit rate less useful, and any extra additive damage more useful most of the time, especially because Mythra is lacking in that department.
From Hurricane Anise, if i'm not mistaken. (Which is the final superboss, so if you're before the point where you're ready to fight him, whatever core chip offers you the highest auto-attack and crit rate will be best to use.)
@@TheVirginMeri WHAT!?!?? Huh?!?? What are you saying??? You don't make sense... 😰😓🤔 You 100%-ed Torna, (and probably the base game? Or at least got close) and yet you found the game cringe? HOW?!?? And SO cringe in fact, that you didn't even get XC3?!?? That doesn't make ANY sense... Was it true that you didn't get XC3, but only up until some time ago, or what?!?? 😨🤔
If you haven't figured it out yet, did you beat all of the non-golden unique monsters yet? Once you do that, the "monster granny" in Hyber Village will join your community. Otherwise you probably just missed someone.
Some level 100 bird boss that you get to fight at the stargazing place in the final boss area when you get all of the slate pieces somewhere in torna and talk to a random nopon.
I think you forgot to mention how OP Mythra's Field Ability "Girl's Talk" is in the game.
And so, thanks to the beautiful Mythra, the tale continues.
Hey guys, EneI here. Today we are going to talk about why you should ride Pyra instead of Dromarch.
I just noticed minoths abilities are random words in spanish, such as limpio which means clean, or castigo means prison of to punish? Strange haha
Also he has Mining and quips "he knows the drill" when picking up stuff

Having a hard time getting back to Torna after that ending :(
Yeah, combat is amazing, but story, sad...
8:47, what you said was literally disproved about 5 seconds earlier in the video. Gancho is physical and can be blocked.
oops, wasn't thinking lol
I'm having a great time playing Torna dispite that it is short. Question, are you planing to reveiw team Lora or team Hugo next?
I can barely play torna now

Since milton and hugo died and i cant stand seeing them

are all the good core chips from super bosses? if so whats the best ones before them?
Essentially yes, I'm not sure what the best ones are before them but the level 65 urchin drops some good stuff

Mythra.
Mythra overall, in general. Except for in longer fights, and when you're not controlling team Hugo, and preferably, ARE controlling team Addam.
