The first one looks like misty mountains and trees
Yes, it does rather :)
What an amazing idea 🪴
Glad you think so! My plants look very happy in them
Very nice Tracey, loved the first one colours ❤
Thanks so much 😊
@ you are welcome darling 🩷
That is gorgeous Tracy. I truly love that cherry red, it really does look like cherries doesn't it. I've got to eat a cherry yogurt now😂😂. Thank you for sharing this with us. I really must get some resin paste, it's the best isn't it. They look so lovely with your plants. Take care, xx❤❤🎉🎉😊😊
Thanks Val! Yes pigment pastes are awesome
Thanks for the cock ups as they say, first and foremost, you make it more fun than it actually is when it happens, but and this is the most important part, it highlights that even with experience we can have mis-haps, some that are happy ones and some that are not so happy, but which ever, very often we can make the best of them
Absolutely :) It's how we learn
Oh Tracey 😆 I’ve got a big one had me laughing I had to rewind 😆 both pots turned out ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! Those colours are gorgeous together 😍 I love how the second pot has a natural look about it so glad you said you wasn’t going to sand it. Fabulous video Tracey as always 💙
Thanks so much Sally. Glad I gave you a laugh too
😊
@ you did thank you and I needed that today… 🫶
They are beautiful ❤❤
Those pots are beautiful
Thanks 😄
They turned out wonderfully. First one is my favorite but the second makes my mind race to other items that can be made with the same technique. 💜💓💜
Thanks Lynn. Yes, you probably saw me use that method with Eco Pour a while back too.
Love the pots, colour combo is great thanks for sharing ❤
Glad you like them!
They are fabulous Tracey, I loved this part the mould 💚💚
Loved both pots Tracy, if I had to choose the first one would be my favourite as the way the resin behaved made it look more random
Good choice!
I love both of them
Hi Tracey both turned out lovely 😍 love the layered one, and the plants look beautiful in them thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Gorgeous pots, and your variegated monsteras are beautiful. I’ve got 2 different type of monsteras, I love them, may need to find myself a variegated one now though. Thank you Tracey x❤
They are relatively new variants so even a small cutting is hard to find and expensive. I'm so relieved these took root. I pot the proper names on the video in case any one wanted one. Maybe I should add the links too :)
Got this mold works great with aqua cast, made a terrazzo pot. So now I'll have to have a go with resin 😊
Ah I thought it'd be good with casting powders. Good to know
Both lovely i do prefer the 1st though as more muted but great colours aswell that complement each other
Thanks so much 😊
I love your pots!! That first one is my fave if I had to pick one. Glad I don’t!! I did buy the mold. I can hardly wait for it to get here. ❤❤❤
Those turned out fabulous !!! The first one, looks like a foggy landscape to me… I think you did the right thing not sanding, I like it as is… The question we’re all asking, how’s the mould? Lol
What beautiful pots ❤ I’m with you on the sanding of the second pot it looked perfect the way it was 😍
I have lots of monsteras but not a constellation I’m very jealous 😂
Thanks for sharing this with us Tracey I love your videos so much ❤
Thanks so much 😊 Yeh I Love my Thai Constellation and the little Albo. I was so relieved when they rooted. The Albo has 2 new leaves and the Thai Constellation now has 5 new leaves. so pleased with them
@ Wow that’s great!! Sounds like they are thriving 😍
Love it. ❤❤❤
Thanks Gena :)
Both of the above it’s turned out so beautiful Tracey! I love those colors together. I’ve seen those molds on Amazon before but they advertise them for concrete pot molds. So I’m glad you used them with resin. Now I know they work well with resin. And I have good idea of their size.
I’ve had molds that have stuck like that before and I used just a small amount of rubbing alcohol waited a few seconds and tested the mold then pulled and it would come loose. Then repeat process as much as needed until I got the object out of the mold. I manage to get things out without ruining the mold. But you have to go slowly and not use much alcohol at a time. If you use too much alcohol it will make the resin object get a little bit soft.
This had actually fused so no amount of alcohol would help. Sadly the mould was destroyed. I love it s much I e bought another lol
@ Sorry to hear that. Glad you were able to replace the mold.
Wow! I love this mold.
Me too! I love how chunky and simple it is. a proper classic pot
Both pots are beautiful. My fav is the first one though! Great mold.
Mine too!
Love this mold,,, i have it as well. I have put small sea shells in the rim, (top) and then pearls white, then sand. It is beautiful. And please do use that silicone stem to make a hole. I bought the tray mold that fits the pot mold, and used the same colors as the pot…. Makes for a beautiful pot and saucer for plants.
yes I will use the hole maker when I'm making it for that purpose :) it's such a good idea
I really am impressed with the mold. I really liked the 2nd pot. I'm a Sucker for clean lines. I think i would like to do this in a terrazzo. Nice video. Thank you.
Glad you like them. Yes I bet terrazzo would be great
The plant pots are beautiful…this mold would be sweet if it had a lid….
I think so too! Be a useful big storage pot
I like them both but the first has to be my fave due to the shimmer effect its gorgeous, shame about the mould cos its a really goo size and love the 'belt and braces' haha sorry for not being in chat, didn't realise yesterday was Wednesday my days are merging into one lol
Great plant pots!!! Love your color choices also. Very boho and calming. Thanks for taking us on this and all of your journeys!!!❤
Thank you so much Jullia!
watching as i type. I have made many pots this size with cement all. not pretty so i am looking forward to seeing what inspiration you have. Transparent resin could be interesting tho, might see the roots. No need to completely remove the bolts, just loosen, although the clips are a great idea. The monsteras are beautiful. Now i want some. lol
Lol Sandra . yes clear is interesting, you end up with a frosted effect. Those baby monsteras are new and very fashionable at the moment so artificially expensive. each was an unrooted cutting with 1 leaf and cost me around £50 each. I am so relieved they are rooted and doing well
They ate beautiful! I just poured the dragon box mold you did a few videos ago it's curing now. Now I have to get this😅
It's a great mould. I'll have a slightly smaller one soon too, so more pot ideas to come
The satin finish actually makes it look not like resin, if that makes sense? They look lovely. I made trays for MILs plant pots the same way ❤
Yes it does! Mark looked at it and said how hard it was to believe it was resin. Weighty too
Did the mold survive?
Sadly no. It's such a good mould so I bought another :)
Helllllooooooo Remember Me :D🚙
I have sooo many friends with classic Mini related names, sorry no lol. Do identify yourself haha
