Thanks Hyro. Stayed at the Radison Blu in March 2022 and it was a very short walk to the beach. The Moomba Beach bar took care of us every day with beach chairs and drinks.. Even though it's not ON the beach the view from the upper rooms was great. .and as your video shows it's so close to the shops and restaurants. Thanks for revisiting my winter vacation spot.. Great job , I'll be back in September hope to catch you on the beach..
The last street side restaurant you point to was Seabrita. It was amazing. We were so impressed we eat there a second evening. Great walking video to show our relatives who are going to Aruba with us next winter.
I really like your channel. I like Aruba very much when I was a kid I travelled a lot to the island, I haven't been there for more than 20 years and my wish is to go back soon, but your videos have helped me to remember and to increase my desire to go again to the Happy Island. It would be interesting if you ever do a walking tour of "La Cabana! beautiful resort of the 90's".
Thank you so much Juan Pablo. The La Cabana was indeed in it's glory days during the 90's but is also doing very very nice nowadays. I would have to ask for a permission to film the property.
We ate at the Xixon twice in November. One time for Tapas and Sangria. Another time for Paella. Very nice! Also, Patrizia’s replaced Tony Romo’s and it was excellent. Little known fact, LaPetite used to be the sales office for Playa Linda back in 1987. We were staying at the Holiday Inn and were offered free gambling money if we took a timeshare tour there. The rest is history.
Got stuck at the Radisson Blu for a night by American Airlines due to a canceled flight. Strange place since it was intended to be a condo but never got there. So Radisson bought it. It has potential, but for one night it felt like an incomplete IKEA staged minimalist echo chamber. The location is great for shopping, dining, and beach proximity despite not being beachfront. BTW, La Braise is some of the most killer brick oven pizza I've had. Fantastic. Kind of weird that under one roof is both Greek and Italian menus, but you can mix and match from them both.
Hello Rock, interesting to hear your (IKEA) perspective about it :-) I have not visited it yet. The location is indeed as good as it gets for not having a beach front. Will have to check out La Braise, thanks for the tip!
Great video Hyro I stayed at the Holiday Inn in April nice place if u go in the lobby there is pictures ( in black and white)of the way it used to look with one tower and the areas around there very cool too see the way palm beach area has revolved in the years .
Oh nice to hear this Frank, I should go check them out. I love looking at old photos of Aruba. Growing up the Holiday Inn used to be my favorite hotel. Of course many of the resorts did not exist back then.
It's literally been since 2015 since I've been there a lot has changed but I was just talking to a friend who lives there tonight and he was telling me so much is different I love all your vlogs thank you so much can't wait to return for my Bday this year 💗really feel like you kept that place alive during the pandemic for me much love...❤❤❤ Dushi yes please I work for the Hilton go in there...
Hi Kimberly, yes even from 2015 on a lot has changed. I hope you are able to make it here for your birthday. Would love to film the Hilton but unfortunately they have denied my request to film there :-(
@Let's go with Hyro thanks so much and that's crazy I work for Hilton and when I do come back you can be my guest for the day and film whatever lol when I was with Hyatt Sam came over...💓
Great video Hyro and nice to see it and especially all the changes over time. I am still waiting for your De Palm Island video or if you do the submarine video. Thank you for what you are doing we really appreciate it!🇨🇦
Hyro do you have a recent video of walking downtown when the cruises are in? We noticed in October the downtown was very quiet wondering how it changes when cruises are in.
Hello Maria, I do not have a recent one. This is the closest to it: ruclips.net/video/xva70IoTLiM/видео.html However I have been planning to do a new one, so whenever my schedule permits I will have one.
Is it possible to do a little walk around Barcelo im going in a couple weeks and I’m very curious of what it is like around the area. Been having trouble finding videos of the area
Will try to Edwin. So far it hasn't been easy to work or get permits to film from at resorts. I do however have videos on the beach and street side of this (if that helps).
So sorry to hear this Debra! It's not part of our culture. If I may suggest you, please write to the Aruba Tourism and tell them about it. Perhaps I can touch on this subject in a future video.
The Addison blu building was supposed to be condos the owner of the building was from Venezuela and the owner was money laundering and radison took it over
I disagree. We stayed at a villa in Noord. Fantastic, amazing private house. We rented a car so went to all parts of the island. We ate a both resort locations and local places. We felt no issues picking up groceries at several of the Asian-owned markets -- we never went to the large super markets. In short, we just blended in as best we could and went were we needed to go: inland, north, south, resort area, anywhere.
Thanks Hyro. Stayed at the Radison Blu in March 2022 and it was a very short walk to the beach.

Awesome to hear about your experience at the Radisson Blu! It is indeed very centrally located and looks beautiful! Hope to see you too!
Nice, mooie wandeling. De Paseo Herencia Mall zijn we 1 keer doorheen gelopen, gezellig maar ook heel toeristisch ...
Thanks Paul, ja het is idd heel toeristisch gericht maar eigenlijk wel de leukste vind ik :-)
The last street side restaurant you point to was Seabrita. It was amazing. We were so impressed we eat there a second evening. Great walking video to show our relatives who are going to Aruba with us next winter.
Good to know, I should go check it out! I hope the videos can help them too :-)
Great video Thanks Hyro🤩👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks! Wow a lot of changes in 20 yrs. After my cruise I am going to have to come back for a week
You probably will ;-)

Great request. Also going to be staying there for the first time in July.

@@LetsgowithHyro which video would you recommend of yours that is nearby the Barcelo. Thank you
Hyro, I really disliked being "harassed" by the vendors when I was in Palm Beach in January. It seemed much more intense than I had ever experienced.

Yes, I heard something like that too. It's nice that the Radisson took it over though :-)
🙏
Thanks for watching Ismail!
Just stay on the tourist area because rest of the island is disturbed
Thanks for watching Juan.
Disturbed how?
