I adopted my six-month old cat three weeks ago. I feel we've really bonded in such a short time. It upsets me to raise my voice at him when he's naughty. But it's the only thing that will get him to stop, short of distracting him with a toy. I'd like to know if cats can be trained, maybe a little?
It's wonderful that you’ve bonded so quickly with your cat! Cats can definitely be trained, though it often requires patience and consistency. Positive reinforcement, like treats or praise, usually works better than raising your voice. With time, your cat will learn what's expected of him! 😊
That's wonderful you've bonded. Your kitty will show you love and loyalty, and also be naughty at times. I know cats can be trained but I never worked on training, like with a dog. Depending on your cat's personality it could be easy or not so easy. Cats get to know you and will adapt to fit into a supportive environment but still find a way to misbehave. That's a cat for you. I'm glad you have a kitty to love, and he has a loving home. ❤
Haha, great point! Cats definitely have a wide range of unique sounds, and while they haven't copyrighted them, it would have been fun to showcase some examples. Their trills, meows, and purrs are definitely distinctive.
Fair enough! Cats definitely have their quirks, and not everyone is up for the surprises they bring. But for cat lovers, even the weird moments can be part of their charm.
I've had cats all my long life and never had one "bring me" anything from the litter box. Dogs are likely to do that if there's a cat box. We had a pup we had to hide the box from til he was about 2 yrs old. The cat loved him, so maybe he saw it as love nuggets...? 😮

1:24 One-eyed cat?
I thought my cats were forgiving me for interrupting their wrong doings. 😕 ❤
Thank you I love my Frankie
You're welcome! Frankie is lucky to have such a loving owner! ❤😊
Have cats copyrighted their sounds? You should have given us examples of the sounds you were talking about.

Sorry, you lost me at "...Tries to bring you presents from THE LITTER BOX". I knew there was a reason I don't have a cat.
