    I really love this program! And I was never an Alan Ladd fan! But he is terrific in Box 13.

    This was another great episode in the "Box 13" series from 1948/49. It was also notable in mentioning the supporting cast, which usually included only Sylvia Picker. This time the closing credits also included John Beal of "My Six Convicts" (1952) fame.

    Really didn't realize how many of the big movie stars also cleaned up with radio shows !! 🤔👍Thanks to all talents my favorite Pat Novak 🤗 but not in radio but with Hugh Beaumont in movies Pier 23 etc and of Jack Webb on radio 💥👍

    I loved listening to the OTR shows as a kid in the 1940's and 1950's. This was way before TV. Back in the day even in our isolated farm community we had to wait until the sun was down before we could pull in the various 50,000 Watt Blowtorch stations. The TV generation has no idea what good story telling is.
