PART 1: I remember me and my friend were just playing and then we joined a public lobby not knowing about namo the clone ghost so we joined and we just saw chaos so we left in time before it got WORSE. PART 2: so after that I was just hanging out in the basement after he left and I was like, "I kinda wanna play gorilla tag" thinking all the hacking was gone but little did I know namo just got WORSE. So I joined gorilla tag and saw like hundreds of clones floating and everyone screaming in the background confused. PART 3 (it's a little bit long though). So I joined the lobby hearing people screaming and being even MORE confused cause I saw people like freaking out but it was really laggy and annoying AND scary so I tried every gamemode until my game just crashed. It did the thing where you go into like a dark screen and it freezes gorilla tag and about 10 minutes later... pop. my game crashed I was in my oculus menu. PART 4: So after that chaos I wanted to check discord if it were just me but EVERYONE was also having he issue and lemming (LUCKILY) told us that he was getting a team of mods/devs to fix this issue and it would only last a couple days. "DAYS!" I shouted and I was frustrated cause I just wanted to play gorilla tag like EVERY other player. So then I just sat down put my oculus away saying to myself "is this a dream" so then I slapped myself nope it's not a dream. After that it was like 8:00 so I sat down and browsed around RUclips and everything was just, GORILLA TAG JUST GOT HACKED, or NAMO THE CLONE IN GORILLA TAG etc. you get the point. PART 5: So a little bit after I was watching RUclips like maybe 8:30 - 9:00 I went to bed cause I was tired and all this chaos was just too much for me at that moment. But I remember that in my dream I just saw the yellow monkey cloning itself OVER and OVER like a hundred times. So then I woke up feeling nice but then I remembered "I have to check gorilla tag!!!" so I got on and my friend was on too so I called him saying "yo bro do you see all of this?" (and btw this guy is Miki he is my friend we talk a lot) he said "yes what is going on though" I didn't know so I just got on and checked. PART 6. The second I got on I joined in stump seeing EVEN MORE clones this was crazy so I joined a public... didn't work... it seemed like nothing worked until 5 days later... Just a recap for those 5 days I was just checking the game every day until it was... NO CLONES!! Public codes were working everything was working but sadly I did not have a RUclips then so I couldn't make any video on it but I was just happy. But thats really all I have to say about this. TRAILER FOR STORY 2: PLAYER TRACKING after that happened player tracking started. But that's for story 2. GUYS PLEASE LEAVE A LIKE THIS TOOK ME SO LONG AND IT IS A TRUE STORY BECAUSE MIKI IS A REAL PERSON AND HE EXPERIENCED THIS TOO BUT BYE GUYS!!!
another weird hack (I guess) that was not close to being bad and this was back in summer 2023 and people would change hats and stuff with movement and it was fun. Another one was also harmless dates back to October or smth in 2023 and it was if you went to the report option and went in the place with the leaderboard and pressed the X it would allow you to see the outside of any map. Example: you could know everybody’s location in a basement lobby from the entrance.
