  • It's time for a tractor review! I'm checking out the new 2024 LS Tractor MT2 series premium cab tractor with new Yanmar engines. What makes the MT242 and MT232 tractors PREMIUM? Well, they have lots of buttons and gadgets and stuff. Just, like, watch the video and figure it out.

Mine just got to our local dealer. Waiting for 3rd function and rimguard to be installed. Can't wait to start using it - may drive it around just for fun.

Really like how practical your reviews are. Mallard+5's early reviews and "friendly user trial" info on the smaller HP variant were promising. A real 6-post cab is truly amazing on this machine. Now the decision between MT3-series deluxe vs. MT2-series deluxe.

I was a little apprehensive about ordering the MT2 cab for the dealership. The previous cabs had a few things that bugged me quite a bit. Now that we took the plunge, I'm really impressed! The design is very forward thinking. Our personal tractor is an MT3 series with an open station. We didn't go with the cab because of a few ergonomic issues. I've got plenty of customers who like the MT3 cab, on the other hand. Everyone is just a little different. DEFINITELY try both of them out. If the 3 series is comfortable to you, I'd definitely go for it. They're a GREAT machine

Commenting on this video makes me realize I forgot to comment on the last lawn mowing one. I’ve failed you as superfan #1…

I was considering this model myself. I hope you decide to "get a new tractor". I'd like to see it in use. A lot of goodies are standard on this! On comparing specs against similar 2 class compact tractors, it looks like LS MT242 has the highest loader and rear hitch lift capacity currently. It also looks to be one of the heaviest if not heaviest 2 series tractors which is great for working.

Quick question, my LSMT125 stopped moving forward and backwards. I have looked everywhere for a diagram to check all connections and such but can't find one. I'm about 30 miles from the store or I would see about bringing it in.

    I need same help.
I just got the ls mt242. I'm at the 50 hrs oil and filter change. My dealer does not have the filters are can't even tell me the parts number . I've checked with 3 other dealer in my area. No one has an idea. The filter on the tractor are soild black no numbers. Can anyone tell me parts #.
    It's a 2024 mt242 with cab.
I've even called ls directly and no one will call me back.
Makes me wonder if I made a huge mistake buying the ls over the Kubota. No LS support.

If you go to the LSTractorUSA.com website, they have a complete parts lookup for every machine. Pretty great resource!
