What will happen if the finish product of airdry clay get wet or exposed to sunhit

air dry clay isnt waterproof so there's a chance the clay will melt when soaked in water for a long time. but if the clay is coated with varnish or sealer, it becomes water resistant. sunlight has no effect to the clay but depending on what clay you are using or what coloring you are using, colors may fade from long exposure to sunlight :)
