I'm currently using the cousin but thinking ahead to 2024. Can i ask for you why you choose to use the a6 for dailies and is that a supplement weeklies you use too? As apposed to having it all in one planner like the hobonichi cousin? Trying to get other people's perspectives to help me decide for 2024. Thank you, your planning style is so amazing ❤
Thanks so much! While I was in the Cousin, I realized it was too much space for me and I was roughly using half the page on average. I also learned I’m more of a daily planner more than a weekly planner, so I wasn’t making use of that section. And yes, it’s the A6 weekly supplement. SterlingInk came out with every size with included weeklies. (I actually think I prefer it separate bc it’s easy to reference and have it open.) Hope that helps!
I HAVE one from Hobonichi, but I only use it when there are a lot of stickers underneath, or I've just written something down and I don't want the ink to get on the other page. It really depends on your writing preference. I love the feeling of paper on paper, and don't mind indentations from writing, so I usually don't use one. It also depends on the pencil board! If you buy a slicker, harder pencil board, it'll feel slicker as you write. If it's more softer, like the Hobonichi, it'll feel closer to like writing on just paper. Sorry for the long response, but ultimately, it really is personal preference. Pros: decreases indentations from writing on other pages, helps decrease bumps from stickers (if you use them); Cons: feels a bit stiffer when writing d/t harder texture compared to paper? Hope this long long rambling made any kind of sense LOL
