I got so excited thinking the update was out, but I can live with a sneak peek at least! Ooh, it looks like it's been changed since the leaks back in 2018. If I'm recalling correctly: Laser Shock is new, faster barrel spin was moved from path 1 to 2 in its place, powerful darts from 2 to 3, lock-on became an always-available feature rather than an update, and depleted bloontonium was removed and advanced targetting was added in its place.
The Dartling Gunner has been my favourite tower in Bloons Tower Defence since it was first available in btd4. I feel it has always been kind of like a gimmicky military themed alternative to the super monkey, and I really like how they've kept up this theme, with the ultra-powerful 5 tier upgrades. And I like that they didn't try to one-up The Ray of Doom, and instead gave it the fifth-tier status it deserves.

Then again, BTD6 actually had a maximum attack speed (I think it's one attack per frame, might be more) and I wouldn't be surprised if something like the plasma accelerator or ray of doom is already pretty close to that. Obviously the buckshot path will be mental with ultraboost, so many projectiles with extra attack speed will just be nuts.

Holy crap i had dream of a upgrade which exactly looks like plasma accelerator. (I got the inspiration from btd battles. After the round ends when you are using ray of doom it the ray shrinks, making it look exactly like plasma accelerator)

Honestly, part of the appeal of darling gun is upgrading it and having a freaking laser, JUST A FREAKING LASER, and it's good too so honestly it's just fun to have
the Dartling Gun is good 5-2-0 but at the sametime it is a little disappointing it's good but not as I thought thx ISAB for doing the top path of the Dartling Gun
Laser Shocks full stats: Darts now are laser-tipped, making them take 1 extra damage for the first second after it was hit, and only does damage once, and any Dartling that has this upgrade that hits the shocked bloon if it's still shocked will do 1 extra damage even per dart.
I just noticed there is a down side to every path mid:can pop lead but not black. top:can pop lead and black but not purp down:can pop magic but not lead
