Good job on that boat! I have done the same to my rc boat by remaking it with pre preg carbon with in autoclave and while I was doing the molds I have added a flooding chamber too. See my videos.
49Km/h medido com o GPS interno. Não está mal!!! Demora é mais um pouco a levantar na água e acelerar devido ao peso extra. De qualquer maneira podes vê-lo a "speedar" no mar num dos vídeos que estão no RUclips
Pedro, Thank you for a tremendous amount of information... I know it took a long time to make this boat and the videos. I've been building and racing RC Boats for many years and occasionally like to take my 55mph Gas Boat to jump some waves in the salt water, so I have experienced the "torque roll" effect but unfortunately have no way to flip my boat back over. So I may make a brushless flood chamber boat some day like yours. However, I wondered is there enough flotation in just the bow of your boat that if your hatch fails and your motor/esc/battery dies, then it will not be fully submerged? Looks like you could have made the chamber longer, but I agree it's better to add a little weight on the left of CG to help with torque roll.
If I did the chamber now, I would make it longer just to have the boat uprighted quickly. With this one it takes about 10 seconds to do that. You are absolutely right, if the hatch fails, the boat probably sinks. But it is a stock issue, I didn´t change anything on this matter. The flood chamber (longer or shorter) don´t take or add any flotation capability to the boat if the water floods the hull. To correct this issue I just would have to put more styrofoam inside the hull. Anyway, as you have seen, I reinforced the hatch locks and if it was a leak on the sealing, the boat wouldn´t be flooded with water in the time that it takes to flip back over. Thanks
Did you consider using a waterproof Traxxas receiver case for your rx? I have this hull and I have bought the Traxxas rx case for it. Only $10 on ebay delivered. Yes, more expensive than a balloon, but, a much safer rx!

Thanks!!! Your black boat 73 at the beach is great. I will see your other videos later.
+Bigbore3 I showed your blackboat video to my mate and he loved it.
What boat hull is it?
Que trabalheira danada ...!
Hehehe ....
E o barco anda bem com todo esse peso extra ??

Thanks, I will do it. The balloon isn't also suitable for protecting the battery. It melts with the heat.
Is it worth it I got pursuit and now problems
