@Amber Arc That might be possible and a factor but that's not the part of switserland I'm about. Although I do find it a bit curious why most of those meetings are held in switserland. I don't really see the problem as coming from one, two or three guys, like 'soros' or 'gates' or whatever. I see it more as a more generic problem, you have this bureaucracy and these universities and the 'school system'. But you might be right, there might be just a few guys in switserland controlling it all. But I wouldn't discount the kind of 'larger' structure, the so called 'think tanks', the 'deep state', its connections with those media organisations. It's a bit hard to get a proper image of the whole thing. It also has to do with the general population if they are suspectible to 'political correctness'. But going into that territory it turns murky really soon why does russia have such a good leadership these days? is it because russians in general are supportive of their government? or is it because they are so critical? it's very hard to get a lead to it to why these things happen.
I would say russia after that sovjet experience got rid of all the nonsense and 'cleaned up'. whilst the west is still in that 'social democracy' mode and we are the good guys and at the same time there is this deep state with their own agenda. I wonder where these 'journalists' come from. Like those from the bbc are they trained by mi6? where do these sicko's come from? and I'm kind of perplexed do these people really believe that russia (or the russian state) did all that hacking or that russian inteference in american elections thing? maybe it has something to do with 'income' The west seems to be an 'old' democracy and there is corruption and connections between the state and everything else all over the place.
@Amber Arc You might be right problem I have with it you have to go into all the details. You have to know who is that and that and which organisation and it's all not really available you have to go like some sort of dectective going after all the details. It's just too much work. Another problem I see it gives this perspective when those things are gone then everything is ok with politics. as if that's the only problem. I'm more with the lord acton thing you know 'power corrupts' it seems more fail safe. More of a 'systemic' view.
But it's certainly 'a thing', one thing I find very suspicious and it seems to be prevalent in the western world is this love of 'world government'. I wonder where it comes from I also wonder where these 'journalists' come from but I said that already iirc.

German isn’t the main language of Switzerland. We have 4 official languages: French, Italian and German and Romansh. Geneva being in the French speaking part of Switzerland, French is used. If the meeting would have been taking place in Zurich, then German would have been used, etc.
Just like any Swiss official, his excellency Parmelin is fluent in the 3 main official languages, as well as English.
