- On a public holiday we walk in the Old Town of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A different atmosphere...
It is quiet and at first there are just a few people walking around. We see the Catedral de Santa Ana and walk around Vegueta with the House of Columbus (Casa de Colón), a former government house that was visited by the famous explorer.
We explore Triana and many side streets until we get to the Calle Triana and San Telmo Park from where we return to the Plaza de Santa Ana.

I have visited LAS PALMAS OLD TOWN many times from LONDON but havnt been since COVID-19 lockdown..such happy memories I particularly enjoyed the craft fair on a Sunday morning I bought a model of CARLOS a local character from a wonderful stall maybe 15yrs ago .that I still have and is in my hall .Watching this video has made me want to visit again this year 2022 in NOV/DEC maybe. Muy lindas ímagenes de tu recorrida por esas calles y plazas de la Las Palmas , para mi la única manera de poder conocer cómo si estubiera caminando ahí , porque de otra manera se muy bien que en esta vida no lo podré realizar , así que esta cuarentena por lo menos me da la posibilidad de hacerlo virtualmente , mientras tenga Wi-fi , saludos desde Argentina !
Preciosas y bonitas las palmas de gran canaria en esta ciudad tan maravillosa hice mi servicios militar en el arcenal de marinería 1973 1974 18 meses gracias señor por recordamos pasearme de nuevo por estas calle que tengo de tan bellos recuerdo como a cambiado todos a mejor saludo a cuántas gentes conocí

Para ser el paraíso tropical que España nos quiere vender, veo a la gente demasiado abrigada y todo demasiado seco.
Puro marketing.
Ese vídeo fue grabado en marzo de 2019. Gran Canaria tiene un clima fantástico...
España no te quiere vender nada. Las Palmas, es OBJETIVAMENTE, la ciudad con el mejor clima de España: inviernos muy suaves, veranos mucho menos achicharrantes que los de la casi toda el país, alto número de horas de sol anuales, y una cantidad de precipitaciones ridículas, son lo que hace que figure habitualmente en los ránkings meteorológicos de las ciudades con mejores climas del planeta.
Pero claro, saber eso requiere hacer el esfuerzo de mirar los datos objetivos que te ofrecen los profesionales de la meteorología, y abrir la bocachancla en RUclips, es infinitamente más conveniente... :D
Depende del mes durante el año. Te diré que en invierno he estado más moreno que en verano. Si no conoces la ciudad, antes de criticar, se le invita a que venga y no a qué saques conclusiones por un video de 50 minutos.
