I spent five dsys riding motorbikes in Andalucia back in 2012 and can confirm - there are no better roads for motorbiking anywhere else in the World than those twisties: the quality. of tarmac, the shape (and shear number) of bends, lack of traffic, the views (sea to snow), the mororbike-friendly culture.
Absolutely stunning roads with pot hole free tarmac, next to no traffic or law enforcement outside of the coast and in the towns, great winter getaway, tasty and inexpensive food, lively/festive nightlife, easy to navigate with a map, no road rage - pure nirvana. Just watch out for an occasional radar camera, follow a local on supermoto and supersport with a some distance and at your peril, slow into and out of towns and look far ahead down the road you maybe sharing a tight apex with a large bus on occasion. The Pyrenees and Pico Mountains are a must - Spain is now my go to in Europe its like 7 day track day. The law enforcement in Italy, France and other countries is brutal - they have picked up on our (US) revenue generating racket.
i heard much about weak torque from the bottom in comparsion to s1000r,SD 1290 r or speed triple 1200r,is it truth? is it an issue for the street ride?
Apples and oranges in the torque but it will be more than sufficient once you acclimate yourself to the bike. My 890 R drives a lot less harder than my Speed Triple but the speeds/pace is competitive on the backroads. The V2's have nice pace on the track so they make good HP - this Streetfighter will be fun and dare I say more user friendly
With 150+ bhp? - that shouldn't be so surprising. I remember reaching 240+ km/h on a Honda Hornet 600 with 'just' 94 bhp back in the day (on a free way, not race track though, so I was less limited by the length of the straight).
I have ridden the new Speed Triple RS and sat on the Streetfighter V2. The Streetfighter V2 is much more comfortable for my height (190 cm) and that is even without the comfort seat which is 20 mm higher. Can't wait to ride the Streetfighter V2 next month!
I looked at the V4 Streetfighter and it looked so small, almost tiny. Seems it is designer to different type of body, too. I like more of the V2:s so I didn't have the basic interest - but then I heard a V2 Streetfighter is coming... But it has the looks of the V4. Maybe I'm just old! Maybe worth testing, anyhow. Oh, I looked at the Ducati site and it has a dry weight of 178kgs, which is great! But sad they designed this bike to 40 years younger than me, as what I can tell about those ad pics... :) Otherwise nice video, music sucks though. No music is better I think.
The question is pretty easy to answer: Do you want a street bike that you can take to the track, or a track bike that you can take to the street. Also, you’d have to have a LOT of track experience to need so much performance on the track. Finally, the V2 is a different beast altogether, so it seems you’re not comparing apples with apples.
@@alexanderconti521 Alexander, I think this was pretty well explained in the first 1 min 25 seconds of the review. If Evans wasn't explicitly enough, its because this formula of 'sports bike made more comfortable' is pretty universally accepted as sports bike but with an emphasis on road riding.
@@jesseonamotorcycle And that’s the problem, at least for me IMO. I rode a buddy’s Panigale v2 and after half an hour it got so unbearable in the SoCal summer heat. Sucks because I liked that bike and was seriously considering the v2 SF.

Riding this on the most “heavenly” roads doesn’t actually tell us much about the everyday usability. Of course you could ride this for days on idyllic roads…
six tenths of an inch for added stability ? ffs.. stripped down.. WHATs the Monster about then.. Street Fighter, just another patchwork transformer look

Nice review. Good to see you again :)
Nice review. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for the review. Certainly seems like it would be a joy to ride.
Track roots! Indeed. Gorgeous bike. ATGATT!
Shorts and t shirt in summer.
Love it.
You do not need 200 horsepower for the street. This bike is the perfect sport bike especially with single sided swing arm.
I’m very interested in this bike
Looks good standing still and in motion. I’d like to have one in my garage when I retire if I am so lucky 👍
Yes 🙌

Jensen beeler said the 1290 is in a different league in terms of torque at road speeds

Don't compare hyper nakeds to odd ball nakeds.
252kph topspeed with stock exhaust WOW!!!

Too much music! I want to hear that engine!
Yes 🙌
Do you think that this bike would have a more or less comfort seating position than a 2020 Speed triple rs?
Speed triple. Look at where the exhaust pipe goes on this bike.
Sit on them and find out.

What is the name of the track?
this motorcycle doesn't appear to have a slot for frame sliders 🤔
A slot? What are you talking about?
R&G aero frame sliders will work on this bike.
How is the wind hitting the rider without a shield??!!
For street riding it's fine. Once up above 120mph, it gets pretty hectic even in a tuck.
I got my Fat Bob up to 120 yesterday and the wind blast was not pleasant. I’d guess that it’s the same on most bikes without wind protection.
@@fivespeed3026 I ride a ZX6-R with stock windshield and it's not very good on the hwy. Probably will need a double bubble.
You’ll probably get a lot of wind
This or your special setup KTM 790?
I’m still madly in love with my 790, but I wouldn’t mind a long-term loan of the Streetfighter.

Streetfighter all the way. I have a Streetfighter 848 and 848 EVO…the EVO has mostly sat since the SF was bought.
That bend in the knee looks pretty aggressive for a “street’ bike
Yeahs it’s ridiculous
Far too aggressive, looks painful on a winter morning for a street bike after a long weeks work 😂
I am very confused. Is this a bike inspired by racing but also made to be able to enjoy on the road? The video left this unclear.
It's primarily a road bike but heavily based on a race bike, with ergonomics tweeked for more comfortable road riding;
just like the Tuono
