A few months ago I fell in love with this dude, when I was around him or kissing him it felt like this song, I dedicated him Andromeda and he loved it too. For a month, I tried to be the best of myself so I could be good enough for him (I have BDP), the last week of that month he cheated on me with his ex girlfriend and he didn't even regret it. It's been three weeks and this song hurts like a hundred bullets passing through my heart. It's sad how I used to think he was the best person in the world and now he just treats me like shit even tho he said he loved me... I still miss him, I know he can be better than he is now. I hope he still remembers me with this song.
I cried the first time listening to this song. I started listening to her other songs and literally all her songs are so beautifully sad but in a good way. She has such an amazing angelic voice! It was love at first listen 🥰
This song has the one thing I truly love in a song - you never know where it's going, melodically speaking. I love the constant direction changes. Good job!
I’m years late, but… good god. It's like an emanation from a being capable of ripping me to shreds with just a thought, a word, a note. And then the modulation at the “Crazy guy” lyric takes it to another level, as if to say “See? I can do this to you at will.”
A friend recommended this album about a month ago and I can’t get enough of it. It just gets better with every listen. This album is heavenly, Weyes Blood is an angel. Her voice is so tender and comforting.
Heard part of this song during the film "Save Yourselves!" and paused it and ran here as I melted. I didn't feel worse. I felt validated. What a brilliant talent. Karen Carpenter, George Harrison, and Aimee Mann bless you, Natalie. Lyrics are important, and you certainly have them. And your voice! A Godsend. This song will not leave my head. This is not album of the year. This is album of the life.
[Verse 1]
Andromeda's a big, wide open galaxy
Nothing in it for me except a heart that's lazy
Running from my own life now
I'm really turning some time
Looking up to the sky for something I may never find
[Chorus 1]
Stop calling
It's time to let me be
If you think you can save me
I'd dare you to try
[Verse 2]
Left the heart from the depths it's fallen through
We all want something new
But it can't seem to follow through
Something's better than nothing
Or so that I thought
Now I know it's just one dream
All these others gonna tear me apart
[Chorus 2]
Love is calling
It's time to let it through
Find a love that will make you
I dare you try
[Bridge]
Crazy guy
Think this is deep
Think it's meant to be
More than anything I can think of
I'm ready to try
[Verse 3]
Treat me right
I'm still a good man's daughter
Let me in if I break
And be quiet if I shatter
Getting tired of looking
You know that I hate the game
Don't wanna waste any more time
You know I didn't hold it up
[Chorus 3]
Love is calling
It's time to give to you
Something you can hold onto
I dare you try
I think with Verse 2 it's "Lift the heart from the depths its fallen to" ?
It’s kind of wide open .. in spots . Yes in a human to astronomical level it’s wide open but quite dense actually.

This and Wild Time has been in my head non-stop for two weeks. Everyone needs to hear this
I could listen to Wild Time on repeat all day. It's that good.
This melody once accompanied me all night long and I woke up from sleep with its sounds. Today I heard it again from this side of perception for the first time.
This song changed my life.
I find it hard to believe this good of a song is not more popular
I’m late to the party on her. Listened to a Tim Heidecker Office Hours podcast and she had performed. And wow. That voice is everything. Then came across this song. Maybe listened to it 44 times in a row. Absolutely love her 60s-70s sound
I just want to mention....that the first 5 to 10 seconds of this song are absolutely incredible.
Hey you might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like Weyes Blood
Can't wait for the 2024 music video 🤩
The song is like a lovely mix of Karen Carpenter, George Harrison and Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon era). That is what comes to mind when I hear this masterpiece
YES.!!

I just discovered her the other day & I immediately thought Karen Carpenter mixed with Radiohead. But now that you say George Harrison I definitely hear that in the sound too.
@@autumnsnow8467 the slide guitar is very harrison esque

If I could be a song, it would be this one.
Jose Lino the fuck?
@Jose Lino lmao
Me too
@Jose Lino chile wtf
Beautiful. Why do we always have to compare a superb musician with others? Just let this very special voice enter your heart and enjoy. Who knows where she will go...
Jerry B
I saw her perform last night, in a small, intimate venue in Montreal. Closed my eyes, and it was like being in the presence of an Angel.
Soon Andromeda will be getting the music video it always deserved
This is the best song I've heard in a very long time. Congratulations. So many beautiful chord changes.
Best song ever no joke. STOPPPPPPPPP CALLLINGGGGGGGGG ITS TIMEEEEEE TOOOOOOO LETTTTTTT MEE BEEEEEEE
I've been listening to this album every day lately, reminiscing of my teenage years. Timeless and ethereal...
This feels like a clarion call to those of us with attachment issues to let love through.. i dare you to try.
the chord progression is so beautiful. What an amazing songwriter she is.
A melancolia que essa música carrega é surreal.
I discovered this song just now.. It's crazy that's this isn't everywhere... How could pass 5 whole years without me hearing it?!... I am in shock
This song makes me think back to when my grandmother was passing and told me "I'll be alright, let me go." 😔
✨️her voice is enthralling ❤
I could listen to this endlessly.
Hope youre feeling better.. experienced something similar lately
I cried the first time listening to this song. I started listening to her other songs and literally all her songs are so beautifully sad but in a good way. She has such an amazing angelic voice! It was love at first listen 🥰
This music shatters me everytime. It simply drill my soul till the core, and i always break into tears. Such a marvelous song.
thank you Timmy our art curator
The warmth and comfort her sound engulfs me in is utterly indescribable
This song has the one thing I truly love in a song - you never know where it's going, melodically speaking. I love the constant direction changes. Good job!
I’m years late, but… good god. It's like an emanation from a being capable of ripping me to shreds with just a thought, a word, a note. And then the modulation at the “Crazy guy” lyric takes it to another level, as if to say “See? I can do this to you at will.”
A friend recommended this album about a month ago and I can’t get enough of it.
It just gets better with every listen. This album is heavenly, Weyes Blood is an angel.
Her voice is so tender and comforting.
love how there’s this something else in the visual connecting tingting
MAGNIFICO, what a great song, thanks to the universe for bringing it to me
Gram Parsons is smiling from above, this is proper cosmic American music
One of the greatest songs ever written.
Many thanks to Adam for hd.
Just discovered Weyes yesterday. Some of the most beautiful music ever. Thanks for sharing your music and inspiring others to do the same in their own unique way. This music is unique and haunting!
2:24 THAT. THAT I've been repeating for the last 5 minutes
This is the only song I’m grateful someone on Tiktok introduced me to.
I was fine until she said" treat me right i'm still a good man's daughter". And that broke my heart.
I have a daughter, I could not stop crying myself ...
best part of the song
i cried in the car when i first heard this lyric
I feel the same way but “I’m not a good man’s daughter” but I deserve to be treated right and that broke my heart. Cuz I wish he were.
@@izzie2140 you absolutely deserve to be treated right because you are a unique individual human being, well said! That reasonable treatment should be dependent on just your existence. Great comment you made there and wishing you well.
The synth line in the beginning,2:30-240 and at 3:10-320 is the same at the chorus on “everybody’s gotta learn sometime” by the korgis
you, lana and lorde saved my 2021
Greatest voice on earth.
At the end of the day, I’m a good man’s daughter. Thank you for reminding me.
spotify me recomendou e eu não consigo parar de ouvirrr eh uma imersão tao intensa mds te amo weyes blood eu te amo
i cannot even describe how much this song takes over my brain
