@@vibhorbhatia25 I know about that. Even in Ajnabee he had some serious parts too. Seeing Johnny Lever in a full fledged serious role will be good. Since fans will want to see him do comedy too, he can be given 1-2 comedy scenes but overall the role should be a serious one

@@vikasmiracle1420 true that Sid has limited range but his choices of scripts were impressive but I'm afraid he'll be typecasted too after Shershah. In comparison, Adi is a much superior actor, he excels in intense dramatic roles mostly. I would request you to watch more of his works like Fitoor, Malang, Kalank etc. to reevalute your judgement.

Mukesh Khanna was also stereotyped by Bollywood to play old fatherly roles and aged characters when he got success after playing Bhisham Pitama in BR Chopra Mahabharata.
Another actor who's getting stereotyped is Jisshu Sengupta. He's a great actor in Bengali industry and also did many roles in Bollywood. Yet he mostly gets the roles of the lead actresses' husband that too in a negative role
I think he played that kind of role in only one film i.e. Sadak 2.

I wouldn't call this Stereotyping, as much as it is Type-casting. It is however imp to understand that most of the actors such as Nawazuddin, Irrfan, Pawan Malhotra, Deepak Dobriyal, Aparshakti Khurana, Akshay Khanna, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao etc have developed a forte in a particular Genre. Also it is the Market's Demand that influences the casting.
Sanjay Dutt is a great actor. He is one of those actors who can do comedy and negative roles both comfortably.

raghubir yadav is a very versitile acto but he is constantly given the roles of unhappy father which is really sad as his performance in whole panchayat was very good
There is an old Bengali movie called Raasta by director Bratya Basu. He played the role of a gangster and actually did it really well.
Tiger shroff is the biggest example of stereotype roles.

It's his only talent not stereotyped by anyone
i mean yes, but then again that's all he has. actors with potential versatility who still get selected for the same characteristic roles can be shown as examples of stereotypes.

I believe an actor like Rohit Saraf is also gonna get stereotyped as this cute loveable boy next door if he doesn’t consciously make an effort to do different roles..we see him once in a while in a Ludo or a a Vikram Vedha and he seems good too but his online image has stuck with him..and he also seems to be more comfortable in that space.
Recent example is the actor Geeta Agarwal Sharma, role of mother in omg2, fighter, 12th fail and now All India rank

please make part two of this video and also tell some movies which really shows true potentials of the actors like deepak had also played very good roles in bholaa and web series saas bahu and flamingo where played character of monk and about vijay raaaz so he had played good role in shaabaash mithu also in kunal khemu is one such actor who should diffrent roles as he played in lootcase and malang , i also think sanjay dutt sir had gave enuff of roles of villains like in agneepath , role in kgf , role in shamshera , but role in leo felt like its enuff for him , i think if welcome 3 will be a good movie then he will also get attention in comic roles again

Abhi kuch din pehle main apne college mein actor "Vipin Sharma" se mili thi, to unse maine poocha ki kya Taare Zameen Par mein unke role ke karan logon ne unhe hate kiya kya, to unhone kaha ki ek baar unki ek film ke director ne unse kaha ki he did not know that Vipin ji is polite as uss film ka AD jo unhe janta bhi nahi tha usne unke baare mein ek rumour faila diya ki wo bahut rude hain (because of TZP character) so unhone hume bataya ki it's hard to come out of that image, or isliye unhone child centric film "Dhanak" ki thi to change is image.😁

it's never wrong to cast actors in similar role as they are bringing their top performace in such characters. As directors wants them to bring out their true potential in the very specific role they do and with such ease they perform the similar characters is the best choice to do.
