It's not copying, nor is it lacking originality. It's a style. This has happens all throughout music history, even way back when. People like Mozart and Chaikovsky who followed a specific formula and style, and people like Wagner who were very experimental until what they did stuck. To bash this as unoriginal is to not understand music
