Nice tractor Jacob. As to the engine sump, there is oil in there, You fill up the front part of the crank case ( about 2 quarts) so it so the con rods dip in it , it overflows over a partition near the rear of the crankcase and from there it flows out to the final drives. the lubricator keeps it full and overflowing.
I stand corrected Wayne, I should have been more clear when I said it was a dry crankcase, as there is a little oil in there. I'll have to clarify that in future videos. Thanks!
I can see why you added a non Allis to your collection, something with such family history is great to retain. Better yet I can see this tractor will be up and running in new condition given the time and effort you put into your projects.
H-P are like white elephants to me... "I know nothing" as Schultz would say. And unfortunately Doug Strawser from Oregon Ill is no longer with us. So I'll be watching this intently. Congratulations on the new tractor and family tractor at that.
This tractor could not be in better hands I’m looking forward to seeing update videos! Congratulations on your new acquisition!
very nice, especially with the family connection. They are quite cute and it is in fantastic condition, good work mate
